Regarding the "crunkcore" article

You're right, I could have moved it. I had it in my power to move it. But I didn't. Know why? Because I wanted consensus from other editors. I don't go around just changing the article's name if I don't like it - it's too big a change to make without asking other editors if they agree. So if you consider me to be too lazy to move it myself, well, just remember: I could have changed the article's name then got a lot of shit from other editors saying that I should have asked their permission. --LordNecronus (talk) 22:03, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Sorry if it came off as a rant, I typed it very calmly but often it may come off as a rant. As for the foul language, well, if it helps, it wasn't directed at you. I do have a rather nasty habit of swearing. Spending a lot of time in an anti-social school with lots of foul-mouthed anti-social kids rubbed off on me. --LordNecronus (talk) 14:41, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

One more thing...

Don't worry, this isn't a rant, but a complement. (I think that's how you spell it, I'll check at some other time). Looking at your userpage, you seem not only like a pretty nice guy, but someone I would get on famously with. The userboxes... so much of it I agree with. Anyway, I don't know what the point of this section is edit-wise. I just felt like complementing you on stuff. As with before, sorry if I scared you with my over-the-top rant. That happens a lot. --LordNecronus (talk) 18:00, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate the apology. Sorry if I came off as a jerk with my comment as well.Krazycev 13 19:39, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: The Word Alive

Hello Krazycev13, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of The Word Alive - a page you tagged - because: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. –Juliancolton | Talk 16:47, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Relient K

That was added without consensus; some random came along and thought it was worth noting - probably because they saw it on another page. But we have a policy here that just because other stuff exists, does not make it right. It is a superfluous waste of space, the lead should be concentrating on actual fact and relevance, not trivial sidenotes that tell the reader something that they surely could work out on their own. If you reeally want to argue this, take it to the talk page there so others can get involved too. But thank you for messaging me and not just reverting, things work much better that way. k.i.a.c (talktome - contribs) 11:05, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

The Word Alive page

has been declined for a speedy deletion by someone because they are signed to a noteable record company and i have references, so when does the notice come off of the page? Loshgoobii (talk) 18:32, 20 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Loshgoobii (talkcontribs) 18:25, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, but it doesn't. I'm assuming you're Loshgoobii. One thing I'd appreciate is if you sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~ altogether). Anyway, being signed to a record label does NOT meet notability guidelines. And this page was very recently deleted, please see the deletion log. I can tell that you are new here. I'll cut you some slack, but you need to actually read why a page was deleted before you recreate it. Thank you. Also, have references on a page doesn't even come close to protecting it from deletion.--Krazycev 13 18:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Dang.. Well sorry for wasting your time then. Loshgoobii (talk) 18:41, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

No no no no no. It's quite alright. And I appreciate you signing your message this time. I apologize if I came off as a jerk. But before I say any more, did you read the notability guidelines? If so, you may want to think about a graceful withdrawal. Since the page is already being deleted under the recreation of a previously deleted page, withdrawing gracefully would completely end the debate. Now don't get me wrong on personal opinion. The Word Alive is a very good band. But they don't even have a full length album released yet, and their EP did not chart on Billboard's charts, like the Billboard 200. I appreciate the effort, but next time you try to create a page, please review if/why it was deleted. Thanks for understanding.--Krazycev 13 18:46, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Well I kind of just skimmed through it. I've been doing this on a Wii so its really difficult. I don't know what you mean by "withdraw gracefully" but just tell me how and I'll do it.Loshgoobii (talk) 18:58, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Basically, you go to the talk page and say that you are requesting deletion. I will then change the speedy deletion request to G7 vs. G4 and it will be all said and done.--Krazycev 13 19:02, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Did I do it right?Loshgoobii (talk) 19:09, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Indeed you did. I appreciate the lack of a big argument.--Krazycev 13 19:11, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. Arguments are not good, and sorry for making that page. I didn't know it was on there before.Loshgoobii (talk) 19:17, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Quite alright.--Krazycev 13 19:21, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

You know EVERY good band! Oh, but the Agraceful Wiki page is almost a direct copy/paste from another website besides what I changed. I put the last names and stuff. Should I rewrite it, or am i babbling about stuff you don't care about? If so I'll stop talking to you. --Loshgoobii (talk) 19:33, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

RE:TDWP

I apologize, I assumed that was vandalism because well "Ziggy "Trick Daddy" Jerome" seemed pretty goofy to be honest, but if you'd notice sometimes the band members section of the allmusic overviews sometimes seem very janky, even the Aerosmith overview says that they have six members, when they actually have five and even so they've had 3 past members total, so even if they were including the past members it should be 8 listed. In this case, I suggest taking it to the talk page, not to negotiate but to ask questions about this oddly-named TDWP member.[1] (-) GunMetal Angel 15:30, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Concerns about image

Hi,

The Wikimedia Foundation's email response team today received an email from an individual asserting he was the copyright holder of File:Agraceful performing live.jpg, a file which you uploaded and released into the public domain asserting that you created it "entirely by yourself".

Further, he attached a copy of the photo in a far higher resolution than the one you uploaded.

As far as I am concerned, this is an blatant copyright violation. I encourage you to either i) explain how this is your image in light of the assertion and higher-resolution copy which was sent to the Wikimedia Foundation or ii) concede that you did not take the photo and that you falsified the licensing and author details, which then means that all your image uploads will need to be looked at.

Please reply on my talk page as soon as possible.

Rollback

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Re:usery page

No problem. And... wow. Seeing your message prompted me to to check my own user page history, where I discovered some vandalism from October 1st that I had completely forgotten about.

I think userpage vandalism is sort of like band-aids, from elementary school. Band-aids aren't good, but they're "signs of toughness," as one of my friends put it. Likewise, if vandals are attracted to your userpage it show's you're doing something right. :) A little insignificant Bloated on candy 01:15, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Well, vandals don't like to work in the spotlight, either. (That doesn't make any metaphorical sense. Just ignore it.) So, you are a drûmmer, eh? That sounds really cool. I wish I could say I played an instrument, but I do not. Sad. A little insignificant Bloated on candy 01:24, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and congrats on the above rollback, by the way. It blew me away when I first got it. Try not to click on it by accident!!!! :P A little insignificant Bloated on candy 01:25, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Ha! On my very first rollback edit I was patrolling Recent Changes, I was all excited to mass revert vandalism, I clicked what looked like vandalism- aaaand it was a legitimate edit. Helpful tip: ALWAYS check the diff first, even if it's tagged as vandalism. Well, almost always.
And no, I am not Canadian, I'm from the US. But I read a lot of Terry Pratchett books, and I think I have become subconsciously British. A little insignificant Bloated on candy 01:38, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Sorry for the delayed response. Pratchett writes a lot of sci-fi/fantasy humor books, which doesn't sound too interesting at first, but he parodies a lot of real-life stuff we take for granted. Eh, he's funny. (Wait, I did it again! Dangit!) A little insignificant Bloated on candy 15:17, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Artist Vs Poet, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Artist Vs Poet. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Mrathel (talk) 15:10, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (File:LookItsGIR!.jpg)

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:LookItsGIR!.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ZooFari 01:56, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Question

Not saying you're wrong or trying to be mean, but about We Came as Romans and To Plant a Seed... Shouldn't "as" and "a" be capitalized because it is how the band writes it as apposed to being proper? sort of like Artist "Vs" Poet? I don't know.

Oh, and you're the smartest 13 year old I've ever spoken to. Are your parents really smart or something? --ŁoshĢoobii 14:54, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the "smart" comment haha I appreciate that. And I guess so. My dad's an accountant at Reynolds & Reynolds. Anyway. Technically speaking, no. Minor one/two letter words are usually not capitalised (popular exception: I). For example: and, is, it, a, as, the, and of are usually not capitalised, so "as" and "a" in "To Plant a Seed" and "We Came as Romans" should not be capitalised. However, I actually think that I will change Artist Vs Poet to Artist vs. Poet, due to the annoying manual of style. Thinking of it, regardless of the fact that Brokencyde both stylizes and is marketed as brokeNCYDE, the capitalisation does not comply on their Wikipedia page. I probably should move Artist Vs Poet to Artist vs. Poet, but the page actually has a deletion nomination at this link. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV 13 other crap 18:21, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for answering my question. I'll try to remember all of the rules. Just wondering though, doesn't that kind of make wikipedia incorrect a little? Proper, yes, but correct? I don't know. I'm just speaking my mind. --ŁoshĢoobii 19:34, 7 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Loshgoobii (talkcontribs)

I suppose it does. I personally think that We Came As Romans and brokeNCYDE should be stylized as such, but Wikipedia doesn't judge by personal opinions of it's editors (aka us). Oh well. We have to live with it. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV 13 other crap 19:41, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I guess we have to live with it, unless I kill myself over it! Then Wikipedia will have to live with the death of a young boy on it's pages! .... but that won't happen... -- ŁoshĢoobii 19:51, 7 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Loshgoobii (talkcontribs)

I have noticed a large number of your recent edits consist of changing "1996 – present" to "since 1996" according to MOS:DATE. While the use of "since" is the accepted format for main article text and prose, use of " – present" is the accepted format for templates and infoboxes according to WP:OTHERDATE. The Word Alive

I was wondering if I had the sources to have the page restored. It was deleted because of lack of notability and I think they might have charted on Billboard Heatseekers. These websites say so, but I was wondering if you could look at them to see if they are reliable

If these sources are reliable could you possibly restore the page? I don't know what the first page that was deleted looked like but I created the article the second time and I'm pretty sure that I had a page that was relevent and had good sources and such. Replaceable fair use File:Tyler Telle Smith 2.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Tyler Telle Smith 2.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 03:26, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:ATTOJ.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:ATTOJ.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

Fair use rationale for File:ATTOJ.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ATTOJ.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. Blessthefall

Hi, please take the time to read WP:MOSTM, which states that we should "Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules, regardless of the preference of trademark owners.". This means that although the band may style their name as blessthefall, at Wikipedia, we follow standard English rules and thus capitalise the name. For various examples, please see Blink-182 (styled as blink-182), Stellastarr (styled as stellarstarr*), and the example of KISS presented on the WP:MOSTM page, which although styled as KISS, is rendered according to standard English as Kiss. I trust this explains the reason for capitalising the name. Please do not revert these changes again. Regards, Nouse4aname (talk) 09:00, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

This was a bad tagging. Here is the entire text of WP:CSD G1: "Pages consisting entirely of incoherent text or gibberish with no meaningful content or history. This excludes poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, implausible theories, vandalism and hoaxes, fictional material, coherent non-English material, and poorly translated material." As you can see, it has to be indecipherable gibber to qualify for this criteria, please be more careful in the future. Thanks Beeblebrox (talk) 00:28, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm actually not the greatest person to ask, I'm relatively inactive as far as administrator actions go. However the best thing I can suggest is to gain familiarity with a broad range of Wikipedia's areas, both content and behind the scenes. Hang around AfD and get familiar with deletion policies, create some content (maybe even WP:FAC or WP:FLC it) and get familiar with content criteria and styles. Training Program

Thank you for accepting me as your Adopter; I hope that my tutelage will benefit you and help you work to the best of your abilities. To get started, please tell me which of the following courses you would like to take:

  1. Gnome Work: Choose this if you wish to primarily contribute by making small edits.
  2. Vandal Fighting: Choose this to learn how to deal with vandals more efficiently.
  3. Communication: Choose this to learn how to handle edit disputes, deal with biting editors, keep cool when the editing gets hot, and many others.
  4. Articles: Choose this to learn what makes a good article, when and how to create an article, and how to edit one more efficiently.
  5. Other: Choose this if the area you want me to help you with is not listed here. If you do choose this, please specify exactly what you want me to teach.

Once you've completed the course(s), I will consider you graduated. But if you think you need help in another area, you may choose to postpone your graduation. I hope that my courses will be useful and better prepare you for whatever may come at you on Wikipedia. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 20:11, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry this took so long, I made a few stupid mistakes while making it and got distracted trying to get rid of it. =P Anyway, have fun!

P.S. I know you currently have only one lesson, but if you decide to enroll in any more, you can use this page to more easily access them. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 21:32, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Much obliged. Thanks again. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 21:32, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

There's something I've experienced today that I think requires sharing. I've added inside a new section. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 19:30, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah... about that... Sorry! --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 19:39, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
o.o" I didn't mean to antagonize you, Jade, and I meant the other guy. Sorry! Should I adjust some parts of it?--Twilight Helryx 19:43, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
See Coldplay's talk page. Me like it. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 19:46, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Heh, yeah I saw it. XP Thanks!--Twilight Helryx 19:48, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
I saw the new section. Thanks for the additional info. I've tried infinitely to reason with some IPs, but it's never worked. I'll keep that in mind. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 23:29, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Speedy declined: Joan Manuel Gisbert

Hello Krazycev13. I have declined the speedy deletion you suggested for this article. Apparently the subject is an award-winning author of children's books. The notability was clearly asserted in the article. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Best wishes, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:43, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Speedy declined: Elena Furiase

This one also provides a reasonable assertion of notability [2]. I'll also make the suggestion that you do a search of Google News archives before tagging something for speedy-deletion. I've found that is often a quick way to see if a subject might meet the general notability guideline. Thanks, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 23:08, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Left 4 Dead

Regarding this diff, the source is the game itself. The Hunter does up to thirty(-three?) damage based on the angle and length of the pounce and then six damage per subsequent slash. However, you were right to get rid of it as it's not worth having on Wikipedia. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:17, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Got it. I wasn't really sure what to put (whether "source" or "unecessary") so I just went with source. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 20:21, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Your editor review

Hi Krazycev. I've fixed the format on your editor review page because it was created incorrectly. All you need to do is answer the two questions and you'll hopefully get a review. :) Timmeh 23:53, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Much obliged. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 00:39, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

DTX Group

Hi Krazycev13

Will you be requesting a speedy deletion of this entry for the "n9ne group" [[3]]?

I followed that listing to a tee. If there is an obvious reason why that article is within standards, please point it out to me and I will rewrite my humble submission at once.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Thanks for your time.

Editor Review: done

I have done an editor review for you at Wikipedia:Editor review/Sock/Archive 1. Sorry for the delay in getting one done - we are slowly catching up with the backlog!

Perhaps you could consider doing a review of another editor? It takes a bit of time (reviews can take anywhere from about 15 minutes up to 2 hours, depending on how many contributions the editor has made, where they have contributed, etc).

The ones marked with a * are those editors who have not been reviewed yet - if you want to review one of these, make sure you remove the asterisks in the parts indicated!

If you have not done a review before, you might feel more comfortable giving a second review to an editor - this will show you an example of a review that has been done, and show you the kinds of things that can be commented on.

I hope that you find the review useful. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about it.

Regards, -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 03:14, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Cover art

Do you know who did the Chiodos All's Well That Ends Well cover art? Not the reissue but the original. --Łoshɢooþii talk 04:23, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean "who did it"? Who uploaded it, or who actually designed it? --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 16:43, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Designed it. --Łoshɢooþii talk 20:08, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

I have no idea. You should check the inside credits. I found who designed Miss May I's album cover(s) in there. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 20:33, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Alright, thanks. --Łoshɢooþii talk 21:46, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Seriously

Does ever member of As I Lay Dying and Lamb of God need a wiki article? --Łoshɢooþii talk 00:45, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

I fixed As I Lay Dying. A lot of the band didn't meet WP:MUSICBIO so I merged them. I'm working on doing the same for Lamb of God. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 00:12, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Jennifer's Body -- Wikipedia is not censored

Hello, Krazycev13. In regards to this, I know that Wikipedia is not censored (which is why I left Fox's curse words uncensored), but the source is the one that censored Seyfried's comment. You are saying that even though the source censors it, we should not? Flyer22 (talk) 17:46, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Actually, yes. The rules says not to include "*" or "-" to censor swear words. I don't fully agree with it, but that's the rule. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 00:04, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for replying. Flyer22 (talk) 20:25, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
