Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Srinivastarun, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Jai Lavakusa, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Proposed deletion of Jai Lavakusa

[edit]

The article Jai Lavakusa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Too soon for film in planning stages, see WP:NFF.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Untitled K. S. Ravindra project for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Untitled K. S. Ravindra project is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Untitled K. S. Ravindra project until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Chrissymad ❯❯❯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 19:00, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Karthik Ghattamaneni has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. reddogsix (talk) 03:21, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Naa Peru Surya

[edit]

Hi, I'm Kudpung. Srinivastarun, thanks for creating Naa Peru Surya!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This article has no sources and may risk being deleted. Please clean up the tone - Indian English is a recognised language but please leave the slang out of it when writing for an encyclopedia

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

"Cranking the camera"

[edit]

Hi there, re: this, I don't know if your silent reversion of my edit was a mistake, but "cranking the camera" is not proper tone for an encyclopedia. We don't use slang-y, hackneyed idioms like that in a professional encyclopedia. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:31, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you didn't add references for "Sri Venkateswara Creations(Nizam) S Creations(Krishna)" and it's unclear what the small parentheticals are intended to represent. Can you please explain that? And can you please dig up some references? The content has been removed until you can do so. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:33, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, re: these changes, please see WP:TRAILER, because I'm curious if you think your additions are consistent with our guidelines on film marketing sections. What you've added (twice) looks like mundane marketing techniques to me. Have any contrary thoughts on this? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:04, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Srinivastarun, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Jai Lava Kusa have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Diffs: [1][2] "Do not copy" is a basic academic concept that most people learn at an early age. Copying is academically dishonest and lazy and is not tolerated anywhere in academia. All prose submitted to articles must be written from scratch in your own voice. If you are not capable of doing that, you need to find different ways to contribute, or you need to find people who can help you add content to articles. If you add copyrighted and/or plagiarised content again, you will be blocked indefinitely to protect the encyclopedia. I've reverted the bulk of your edits at Jai Lava Kusa, because I'm not going to go edit-by-edit and figure out what you did or did not steal. Thank you. Bank

[edit]

Namaste dear Srinivastarun! Can you make an article about 2008 Telugu film Bank (film) and find poster? If you make this article, I will be grateful! Thank u! --95.55.70.182 (talk) 15:51, 3 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The release of the movie is uncertain with different websites quoting different years. Some say it was released in 2007 while some in 2009. And you say it is 2008 Telugu film. Too much confused. Sorry !

Dear Srinivastarun! I found review of film Bank [1][2][3]. Thank you! --217.66.159.147 (talk) 14:38, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Haarika & Hassine Creations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Unblock Request

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I want to appeal to the Wikipedia community that I am not a sock puppet of "Tony28Tarun". I don't even know this guy and just because that guy and I accessed the same pages doesn't mean we are the same. I have had no intention of creating multiple accounts as I am absolutely happy using my account to perform the activities I ought to on this forum. So I request the administrator to grant me the privileges to edit on this forum after taking a good look into the matter. I plead not guilty and I am not a sock puppet of the guy mentioned. Thank you. Srinivastarun (talk) 09:10, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are confirmed as a sockpuppet of Taruntarak (talk · contribs) so you'll need to explain your connection to that account. Note also that this isn't a forum, and I'm rather concerned you are referring to it as such. This is an encyclopedia. See WP:NOT. Yamla (talk) 12:11, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The article Haarika & Hassine Creations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
