Koodal Azhagar temple - Vaishnavism temple

Hi there, I'm pretty new to editing Wikipedia articles, and would like to learn to edit things correctly. Recently, I saw a revert with a reason "template breaks the struct". I added the "Vaishnavism" template to keep the page to similar to Venkateswara_Temple,_Tirumala page. Please let me know if the template is not meant to be used or what kind of struct we are supposed to maintain. Thanks. Vikyboss (talk) 18:34, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

User:Vikyboss - The infobox and the other templates/categories already cover the requisite links. Also, it is preferred to have the templates at the bottom of the page, preferably in external links section. These vertical templates break the already existing infoboxes and hence may not be suitable.Ssriram mt (talk) 03:38, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for clarifying.Vikyboss (talk) 22:55, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Repeat Kali Yuga image issues

Hi, on the Kali Yuga page, you added an image of goddess Kali twice and I have removed it twice. She is not Kali Yuga personified nor does she have anything to do with the Kali age. Please take notice of the text at the top of the article page that says "Not to be confused with goddess Kali." as well as the edit summary that has the reason the image was removed twice. Spelling

Hi there. Thank you for all your hard work. May I please respectfully remind you of the spelling of "Encyclopaedia"? In a number of edits, such as this one, you have accidentally used "Encylopaedia", with the second "C" missing. I am mentioning it especially in case you are using a template or stored text or something for Saiva Encyclopaedia. Hope this helps, with best wishes DBaK (talk) 23:07, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Hello again. Looking at this edit, may I please respectfully remind you of our previous conversation about this ... I think that you were planning to fix your template? Thanks and best wishes DBaK (talk) 00:17, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi. How are you doing? Nila Devi is up for deletion. I have added refs I could find. Do you have any refs about her worship in Divya Desam with Vishnu. Also, please add a better image of Vishnu with three consorts from your collection, if you have one.--Redtigerxyz Talk 14:45, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

Nice work ... Do you know ..

Hi I'm writing an article about Sheela Balaji (today for Women in Red). She preserves Rice varieties and she talks of festivals of grains in Adirangam. I googled Adirangam and found "Adhirangam Ranganathaswamy temple or Ranganatha Perumal Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located in Adhi Thiruvarangam...". Is this the same place? I noticed this was "your" article and that you work a bit on temples. If you are not interested then please ignore. Keep up the good work Victuallers (talk) 09:56, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

@Victuallers - Adirangam that corresponds to grain festival is this - a place in Tiruvarur district. The Adirangam temple is in Tiruvannamalai district. These are two different places with same name.Ssriram mt (talk) 14:57, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:Hindu temples in Angul district requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Nagapattinam climate

Could you stop reverting the climate data to older 1971–2000 data? I changed the data to the newer 1981-2010 data because 1) it is more reflective of the current climate, 2) it is sourced, and 3) it has more info such as extremes and humidity which is fairly standard across major city articles. Your talk page archives

Hi! I noticed that your talk page archives are numbered oddly. You've got /Archive 1 and /Archive 2, but then it skips over a lof of numbers, and continues with /Archive 18, /Archive 19, /Archive 20, /Archive 21, /Archive 22, and /Archive 23. It would make more sense (and also automatically fix the box at the top right of this page) to just have archives 1 to 8. For that, the archives 18-23 would have to be moved to /Archive 3 to /Archive 8, and the bot settings at the top of this page would need to be changed so that it continues archiving in archive 8. You could do this yourself, but I'd be happy to do it for you, if you want. Let me know! --rchard2scout (talk) 09:30, 6 September 2021 (UTC)

Yes - please, if you could help.Ssriram mt (talk) 07:28, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
Alright, done. They've been moved to the correct numbers, and I've tagged archives 18-23 (which are now redirects) with {{Db-error}}, so an admin will probably come along soon to delete them. I've also added some timestamps to earlier unsigned/undated sections, so they'll be archived as well. --rchard2scout (talk) 10:01, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

hi Ssriram mt

in this edit[1] to Jama Masjid, Mandu you added a ref to a proxy URL: https://eds.b.ebscohost.com/eds/pdfviewer/pdfviewer?vid=2&sid=18a110f4-925c-475d-b996-b212ae76cf79%40sessionmgr103

Encyclopaedia spelling: third request

Hi again. We have discussed this twice before, here and here. You said that you had a template containing the error and would correct it. Can I respectfully point out that it may not have entirely worked, as I have just, again, corrected several pages where your template had put encylopaedia? I hope this helps and that you can sort this out this time, please. Thanks and best wishes DBaK (talk) 00:00, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Paraithurainathar temple requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://cultureandheritage.org/2022/09/thirupparaithurai-shiva-temple-in-tiruchirappalli-tamil-nadu.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
