Speedy deletion of "İskender Pala"[edit]

A page you created, İskender Pala, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is very short and provides little or no context.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 07:34, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article İskender Pala has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Possibly unconstructive or harmful changes to Draft:V (programming language)[edit]

Hi Starcrescent,

Thank you for your interest in the V draft. Have typed this on your talk, to avoid getting pulled into an edit war, based on disputable changes or disagreements for an already submitted draft. It is clear you have been present at Wikipedia for quite a long time, so should understand what I mean. Since the draft was already submitted for review, significant rewrites and changes being made could affect the outcome of that submittal. This includes changes that were already made under the advice of previous experienced editors (please see V's talk page and reviewer comments).

If you are truly interested in the V language and it becoming an article, it probably would be better to use the talk page as to what you want changed or might object to, so that there can be agreement. Particularly, with making "last minute changes", since it has been waiting for review for over 3 months.

Issues with changes: 1) No explanation or hint of why changes are being made. 2) Open source date is incorrect. 3) Adding unnecessary primary source links, after reviewing editors took issue with this (see reviewer comments). 4) Vlang is an alternate name of which the programming language is well known by and is used by their community, that can be confirmed by search engines and website (vlang.io). 5) Adding reference dates in a different style. 6) Adding promotional or advertisement-like language to the draft, after previous reviewers objected to such language (see V's talk).

Hopefully we can use our talk pages to discuss and come to an understanding.Wukuendo (talk) 13:36, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Kept as much of your changes as possible, that would not conflict with advice given by the other editors and reviewers, or couldn't be proven by reference given. Thank you for your concern and consideration Wukuendo (talk) 15:40, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
