British English

[edit]

British topics like Last Night in Soho are British, not American, so educate yourself with proper British grammar and stop attempting to Americanise (or bastardize) our superior language. American English is the language of a most stupid, uneducated nation of people so learn that British English existed way before. Did you not even read the editorial notes or do you struggle with reading? 2A00:23C7:ED18:A301:6564:61A8:A4A0:7DF8 (talk) 23:18, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Samia Bouazza (February 19)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: None of the sources provide significant coverage of the person, only of the various business deals etc. she has been involved in. Being included on a Forbes ME top 50 list is not inherently notable, either; nor is being a CEO, etc. This draft has already been declined on notability grounds, and no improvement appears to have been made in that respect, therefore I will assume none will be forthcoming following a further decline; hence I am rejecting this.

Furthermore, an article by the same title (and therefore presumably materially identical in content) was recently deleted following this AfD discussion, for which reason this draft should not IMO have been created in the first place. --

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Samia Bouazza requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Samia Bouazza. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Emirates Development Bank, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Industrial. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Emirates Development Bank

[edit]

Hello Starling2022,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Emirates Development Bank for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hello Starling2022. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Emirates Development Bank, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Starling2022. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Starling2022|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. You have intentionally bypassed the AfC process and published the Emirates Development Bank's page with a promotional tone. The article has undergone two prior attempts - draft 1 (which was later copied and moved to existing page) and draft 2, but it was subsequently reverted to the draft phase for further development. I would like to apologize in advance for any insinuations, but if you are receiving or anticipate receiving compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, it is necessary to disclose your employer, the client involved, and any other pertinent roles or relationships. RPSkokie (talk) 11:33, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No Sir, I am not a paid editor. I have done all kinds of pages from politics, sports, movies and financials. (Starling2022 (talk) 14:52, 8 July 2023 (UTC))[reply]
