The article "Consejo Previsional Mundial'' has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not English

Skype warning

[edit]

Please note that at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Globalization, also introduced some extraneous text around some numerical characters. This may be due to a combination of your browser and Skype trying to identify and highlight telephone numbers. Please double-check any edits you may perform that include numbers, as this may introduce unnecessary characters into the page. Thank you. Razvan Socol (talk) 14:43, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

JTW Article on Chinese economy

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 18:31, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure this qualifies as "advertising" or "soapboxing", and I'm not sure you've actually read the quote in question... I've only added an article outlining a moderately alternative view of the topic at hand, SUMMARIZING a perpective widely shared by many MAINSTREAM Asian and European economists, this right after a sentence exposing the views of conservative/Republican congressional aides. This approach is perfectly in line with Wikipedia's tradition of objectivity as it renders the paragraph in question more precise in fact and more balanced in spirit. But I won't argue with you any further: won't revert to the previous version, even though I think your editing is clearly unfounded & abusive. StatPak (talk)

Thanks for responding.
Let's be clear. I'm concerned that you are specifically focusing on M. Nicolas J. Firzli references, not just the one reference.
If you feel a single author deserves such recognition across multiple Wikipedia articles, please discuss the matter on the article talk pages, and please be aware that any contributions need have a neutral tone. --Ronz (talk) 16:51, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Like I said, the JTW article in question has a rather neutral stance/tone ("outlining a moderately alternative view of the topic at hand, summarizing a perpective widely shared by many mainstream Asian and European economists") + it was translated & published in several journals (Ankara, Beirut, Beijing...).
More importantly, the adjunction of this reference made the paragraph at hand more balanced/neutral/objective.
But, this is not a crucial issue... => Not worth arguing endlessly.
Have a nice weekend. --StatPak (talk)
Again, I'm concerned with the M. Nicolas J. Firzli references, not just the single op-ed. --Ronz (talk) 17:23, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I found this page from a search. I'm in the process of removing a vast amount of spam from Firzli-related websites. He apparently runs several "think tanks" which publish his views, and he or an associate have added his views to numerous articles.   Will Beback  talk  23:24, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Moorehaus for evidence.
