article on Nagpur Airport[edit]

Hey Swapnil, glad to see you here. I've noticed your contributions to the article on Nagpur Airport. I would love to work with you to upgrade the quality and content of the article. I noticed that many of your contributions are unsourced. Would you be able to provide sources for them? I can also help you write the article in a more presentable way. Thanks! --No1cub17 (talk) 04:51, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Haldiram logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Haldiram logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Image copyright problem with Image:Nagpur Roads.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nagpur Roads.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 08:42, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Fairs & Festivals at Nagpur[edit]

A tag has been placed on Fairs & Festivals at Nagpur requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Fatal!ty (T☠LK) 09:44, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation in Fairs & Festivals at Nagpur[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the article Fairs & Festivals at Nagpur, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:09, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nagpur.[edit]

Hi Swapnil, nice to see your contributions on this article. However I would suggest that you go through the wikipedia policy of WP:RS before adding more stuff. Nagpurpulse is good website but on wikipedia we should usually use reliable sources like books, news or government websites as these sources are considered better and non-controversial. I would like to work with you on Wikipedia to improve Nagpur article and let me know if you need any help. It is always good to have a fellow Nagpurian here :-) --GPPande talk! 15:22, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Swapnil, I see you are you still doing some major edits to the Nagpur article. I would like you to discuss first on Talk:Nagpur page so that we can collaborate to improve this article. I would request you to discuss first on such major changes to the article as it will help improve the article. --GPPande talk! 19:18, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Nagpur_Railway_Station.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nagpur_Railway_Station.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:35, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Haldiram logo.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Haldiram logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:45, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Nagpur Airport.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused low quality image

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
