Disambiguation link notification for October 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Neal Taparia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Matthias Mende[edit]

Hello Systumm,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Matthias Mende for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Systumm. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:54, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Systumm. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Systumm. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Systumm|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sam Kuru (talk) 20:55, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Yes it was conflict of interest bit I have not been paid, person I published about was friend I’m trying to get him an article within Wikipedia guidelines, I was about express about COI but before that within 72 hours it got deleted but are drafted. Systumm (talk) 21:35, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. That particular friend has engaged in some blackhat SEO and paid to have gushing articles about himself published on sites run by those spammers. Since you're not interested in developing unsourced biographical articles in draft, that kind of material will be deleted on sight in the future, especially if it includes personal information about relatives and promotional claims. I can see that you've engaged in similar activities for other "friends". Please act with more transparency in the future, and mark existing articles that you've created or modified with a COI. Also, please do not upload images without verifying that the image is released under a free license; I can see several point-black copyright violations in your additions. Thanks. Sam Kuru (talk) 00:25, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, but where do I disclose COI edits, I have made COI edits for few articles. Systumm (talk) 09:52, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Systumm

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username SunDawn, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Darshan Somashekar, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SunDawn}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Patrick Treacy‎[edit]

I noted that you edited the Patrick Treacy‎ article, which has often been a target of CoI editors. While I don't take issue with your edit specifically, I see that you have been warned repeatedly about CoI regarding other articles. This is a worrisome pattern that tends to incriminate you as a undeclared paid editor. I remind you that you have a legal obligation to divulge your conflict of interest regardless of whether you are paid or not. If too many editors notice this pattern, you will likely be blocked and cut off from further paid editing, as any attempt to return to Wikipedia under a new account will be considered socking. I don't think you want that, so honesty is the only policy. If you have questions, please ask. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:11, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know, yes it was COI should I mention it on it’s talk page? I have only added infobox. No other edits were made since they were already been removed numerous times. Systumm (talk) 09:54, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:PAID says "You must make that disclosure in at least one of the following ways: a statement on your user page, a statement on the talk page accompanying any paid contributions, or a statement in the edit summary accompanying any paid contributions." I used {{UserboxCOI}} on my user page for my CoI, for example. If you are a paid editor you need to disclose not only the article but also the firm that paid you and the client who hired the firm. Chris Troutman (talk) 13:46, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have disclosed it, but I have not been paid for it, it was only made Because I know him personally He asked me to add Infobox with image. Systumm (talk) 13:51, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Systumm, I realize you're just trying to make money, but you cannot take shortcuts on sourcing and promotional material. I've moved your article Bar Greenzaid to the draft space. You've again used black-hat SEO sources, paid advertorials, and sources that do not appear to support the claims at all. Please consider this a final warning - disclosing your paid relationship does not give you permission to add spam for your clients. Sam Kuru (talk) 15:26, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No I’m not just trying to make money, I’ve made edits in generally, I understand it completely I’ll fix this article and remove the unreliable sources ASAP As you suggested. I’ll be making more needed edits to the articles in new pages or random articles. Systumm (talk) 15:31, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I’m taking this as my final warning, for next month I’ll be more active in general for non paid or COI edits. Thanks for the heads up Systumm (talk) 15:33, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Since you've decided to move your poorly sourced paid article back in to mainspace despite the warning above, I've blocked this account from mainspace for two weeks. Please note that future violations of our BLP and other policies will lead to longer or indefinite blocks. I'm seeing quite a bit of paid and promotional editing in your history that was not identified as well. In the future, I would strongly advise you to limit yourself to creating drafts and following the AFC process and limiting yourself to talk page requests, as noted in our WP:COI and WP:PAID guidelines. You clearly do not have the ability to discern fake and unreliable sources from those that meet WP:RS. Sam Kuru (talk) 12:18, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I understand but since you removed the unreliable sources and information I thought of moving it back with whatever is remained. But its fine also I do have basics of reliable sources and third party sources, I’ll not again do this, I’m going to limit myself definitely for paid advocacy. After two weeks you’ll see it. I’m going to publish and edit 90% non COI or Paid edits. Systumm (talk) 12:21, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
More to this if you can me my mentor with wikipedia journey I will be grateful, I have learned a lot over the years how it works, but I genuinely need support I have seen people growing rights and knowledge here I seek the same. I have followed your contribution history. You help articles and also take straight decisions too. From next two weeks I’ll come to you for your help in publishing articles those are COI/Paid. After that only I’ll go ahead. Systumm (talk) 12:37, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bar Greenzaid moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Bar Greenzaid, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. February 2024[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:

I’ve no COI or Paid relation with Deepinder Goyal that purely made Because I’m watching shark tank India show and wanted to search about investments of his but there was no Wikipedia article about him so I thought of creating it, but with AI I got the published version. After my last warning I didn’t made any paid or promotional edit. Systumm (talk) 18:38, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The text you added was very promotional, so it seems odd you do not have a connection to him. I am not going to unblock you so that you can continue adding promotional text to Wikipedia. Are there subjects where you think you can write neutrally? If so, say what they are in your next unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 19:50, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would still say I had no COI with Deepinder Goyal article, I genuinely created that article bcs he’s founder of Zomato and which he himself is billionaire, but as asked I will not be making any promotional edits for anyone, COI edits will go through disclosing always, I will avoid every possible promotional aspect for any edit. My editing area from now after unblock would be startups, founders, films, events (recent) films I will be creating articles only related to NCORP and NACTOR or NBIO Systumm (talk) 18:20, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that you should be unblocked to edit in those topic areas. Maybe someone else will disagree, but that's my opinion. I am declining your request 331dot (talk) 20:31, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
