License tagging for File:Videoton Waltham.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Videoton Waltham.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:07, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Újpest F.C.

[edit]

Hello. Please note that this page is a so-called redirect. It does not have and it shall not have the full article that is already in place at Újpest FC (without dots), but when somebody clicks or searches the title they are automatically referred to the main article at that site. This is the standard way at Wikipedia of dealing with different spellings and similar names. That's why I have reverted your last addition to the redirect page at Újpest F.C.. Regards, De728631 (talk) 17:09, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

August 2011

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Győri ETO FC a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. -- DQ (t) (e) 17:56, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also please note I am reversing your moves per Wikipedia:MOS#Abbreviations, the manual of style says that . for abbreviations should be avoided if it breaks things up. But don't worry about the copypaste, we all make mistakes (I actually started doing that till I learned the right way :) ). Happy editing. -- DQ (t) (e) 18:21, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flags

[edit]

Hi, thank you for you contributions, but please do not add flags to footballers honours' section. This is against consensus. For details, please see MOS:FLAG and Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. --Jaellee (talk) 11:47, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Videoton Waltham.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Videoton Waltham.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 03:55, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Elemér Kondás has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. When you recently edited The Moog, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Love & Rockets (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Invitation

[edit]

Hello!

From your edits, it looks like you might be interested in articles related to Hungary and the Hungarians, especially in the sports/football topic. I would like to invite you to join WikiProject Hungary and participate in the Project organization. I think you might be interested in the Sports and games task force (maybe in other ones as well) and if there are five or more applicants for a task force, it can be set up and by a cooperation of dedicated users we can further develop the task force related articles, the task force itself and by so the whole WikiProject Hungary as well. If you are interested, you can read my draft at the Project organization site. If you have questions, ideas or thoughts you can share them on the project organization talkpage or you can contact me directly. Your words are very welcomed!

Thank you! Regards,

Thehoboclown (talk) 11:40, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Help Survey

[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Hungarian football clubs in European competitions is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hungarian football clubs in European competitions until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. BenTels (talk) 20:38, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there SZANDRA, AL from Portugal,

please, please, most of the info you wrote in his Videoton FC spell belongs in the club's article, not in Sousa's page OK. I think it's the second time you do this, please cooperate, please (if it was not you who did it the first time, i apologize).

Have a happy weekend - --AL (talk) 23:40, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Soma Novothny, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 05:02, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article History of Videoton FC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article contains essentially no information that is not covered in the history section of the Videoton FC article. Unnecessary fork.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
