The article Edward m smith has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. —KuyaBriBriTalk 21:05, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the article Edward m smith to Ed Smith (tight end), as there were a couple of articles on the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons that had redlinks to that title, and it made sense to move it there. Mr. Smith's baseball career on its own does not qualify him for a Wikipedia article, but his football career on its own does. Additionally, please do not add any information about this person unless it has a reliable source to corroborate it. Adding unsourced contentious information about a living person is a violation of the Biographies of living persons policy. —KuyaBriBriTalk 21:21, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
