Speedy deletion nomination of Rainbow Trust Children's Charity

I think the goals laid out by this organization are admirable. I also think they are likely notable. However, you created several articles that are all copyright violations in some form from their website. If you want to create an article about them, please read about creating your first article. Repeated recreations of copyright violating materials could lead to your account being blocked from editing. If you need advice, please contact me on my talk page. Rainbow Trust Children's Charity will probably be tagged for speedy deletion under A7 of the speedy deletion criteria because the article does not assert any notability. I am trying to write my first article about the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, however it seems to be speedly deleted. I have written an article in my own words but it says that it is in violation of A7. Could you please give me some advice to how i can fix this as i am new to Wikipedia. How can i make this NPO more notable?

To avoid A7 deletion, the article must contain some claim of notability: some reason that makes the organization worthy of its own article. Have you read the two linked pages? They explain A7 and notability.

It is hard to make something more notable; however, you can show notability by citing reliable sources that have mentioned the organization (newspaper articles about the organization, books about charities, awards of note the organization has won, &c.)

You'll also want to look at the tone of the article, which contains some passages that may be seen as promotional, such as "Donations can be submitted through the Justgiving website".

Read the Girl Scouts of the USA article, which is considered one of the very best articles on Wikipedia for advice on tone, content, form, &c.—C45207 | Talk 21:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
