Hi, please stop adding that information on the network to the article on the magazine. The article mentions the membership of the magazine in the network. All other info belongs in the article on the network and duplicates the information there. --Crusio (talk) 14:11, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cover image

[edit]

Hi again,

I have corrected the problem you had with displaying the cover image in the infobox. However, there's a problem with the copyright. The file on Commons was uploaded by "Tagtraeumer", but states that the author is "Rachel Chew". In addition, the website of the magazine expressly asserts copyright. Sooner or later somebody will stumble upon it and the image will then be deleted. There is a system named OTRS to deal with situations like this, where you can contact someone from that team to certify that "Tagtraeumer" has, indeed, the authority to release this image into the public domain. If you want to go that way, you'd need to ask an admin to help you, I have no experience with it (User:DGG is always very helpful, for example). An easier way may be to have the file deleted from Commons but re-upload it on the English WP, under an acceptable use licence. For an example, see File:G2Bcover.jpg. --Crusio (talk) 15:25, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi, thanks very much, that's very helpful. I'm not a confirmed or autoconfirmed user so cannot upload to the English WP, which would be the easiest way of dealing with it. I'll get in touch with the user you recommended then. Many thanks. Tagtraeumer (talk) 15:35, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article The Oxonian Globalist has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

doesn't pass wp:gng.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
