Speedy deletion nomination of User:Task Forklifts/sandbox[edit]

Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

We already understood the reason for the account blocking. We changed the name to the one we have on our website. We will not advertise, we just want the company to be on wikipedia, with the corresponding information.

Decline reason:

This makes things worse, not better. Shared accounts are not permitted. Nor is that new username any meaningful improvement. You seem to misunderstand WP:COI and WP:PROMO. You seem to have a common, fundamental misunderstanding about Wikipedia. It is not a business directory where companies are entitled to have articles just because they exist. To be considered worthy of inclusion on Wikipedia, a company must meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable company. To meet these criteria, a company must have already received significant coverage from multiple reliable sources that are independent of the company itself. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself or how it wants to be portrayed.

This is the reason we discourage people from writing about topics where they have a close personal or professional connection. This is called a conflict of interest (COI), and we rightly assume that someone with a COI will have their objectivity impaired. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:31, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
