I'm going to look at the two articles and get a little more insight as to what is going on. You are right though, fancruft can be a REAL pain to deal with, especially in fiction articles. If you want example of some really rough fancruft, look at a few of the articles on the WWE and it's wrestlers. I can understand your frustration too, as no one is trying to have a dialogue on the talk page as well. Let me look into it a bit more and I'll see what I can come up with to help you out. You are doing a great job on the articles though, and your quality of work shows through. Wildthing61476 (talk) 03:10, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem![edit]

I'm planning on adding new sources/cleaning it up a bit over the next few weeks. For example, the whole intro needs sources, and the clubs section looks copy-pasted. Wanna help? :) --MgCupcake (talk) 04:42, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

However, keep in mine there is a lot of issue with the fair use policy when it comes to photos, so you might have the photo deleted. Samurai X trust and Betrayal[edit]

I'm putting the link back up. The review list is there. Scroll down and look on the left side. It is there. Please examine the page more closely. I don't want to have to correct your mistakes again. Perhaps you don't understand that another title for Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal is Rurouni Kenshin: Reminiscence. If that is a case then understand that both titles represent the same thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wanabedamned (talkcontribs) 03:08, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Final Fantasy XIII[edit]

I'm curious, are you actually challenging the veracity of the single-player status and controllers used for the game? Or are you just throwing {{fact}} tags up solely based on the fact that there are no references? Wiki policy actually states that citations are only required in certain circumstances, and a challenge is the only circumstance the information being tagged in the article meets. Are you suggesting that you don't believe the game is going to be single-player (as is clearly shown in several trailers), or that it won't be using the standard controller inputs on the consoles it will be released for? That sounds a tad bit over the top to me. KhalfaniKhaldun 23:49, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see no point in waiting. The cast was listed on ANN witch already indicates that it is pretty reliable. Welcome to Did you know...[edit]

Hello! I noticed that you've been reviewing a lot of nominations at the DYK suggestions page. Thank you for your help, and I hope you will continue to contribute! As you know, you don't need to be an administrator to review hooks or to move hooks to Next update, so your help is more than welcome.

You may already be familiar with the DYK rules by now, but in case you aren't, you can check out the official rules and the Additional Rules. You may also want to look into some useful tools that can allow you to review nominations more quickly: the Cut & Paste character counter is a helpful JavaScript to calculate the length of hooks, and User:Dr pda/prosesizebytes.js is a script you can install on your own Wikipedia account for more heavy-duty article length calculating.

The best way to learn is by doing, but here is also a quick reference of the things to check for each hook you review:

Thanks again for your help! I look forward to continuing to work with you at DYK, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me or anyone else at DYK. Now get to reviewing some noms! rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 21:40, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request to participate in University of Washington survey on tool to quickly understand Wikipedians’ reputations[edit]

Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington. In April, we met with Wikipedians to learn what they would like to know about other editors’ history and activities (within Wikipedia) when interacting with them on talk pages. The goal was to gather feedback to help design a tool that could quickly communicate useful information about other Wikipedians. We have now created a few images that we feel represent some of what our participants thought was important. We would appreciate it if you took a few minutes of your time to complete an online survey that investigates whether or not these images would be useful to you. Your quick contribution would be very valuable to our research group and ultimately to Wikipedia. (When finished, the code for this application will be given over to the Wikipedia community to use and/or adjust as they see fit.)

We are particularly interested in feedback from new editors! We want to make sure this tool meets your needs.

Willing to spend a few minutes taking our survey? Click this link.

Please feel free to share the link with other Wikipedians. The more feedback, the better! The survey is completely anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All data is used for university research purposes only.

Thank you for your time! If you have any questions about our research or research group, please visit our user page. Commprac01 (talk) 23:15, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

D. Gray-Man having Adventure, Comedy, and Drama[edit]

I changed it because Action, Gothic, Fantasy and now Action, Gothic, Supernatural is a terrible overveiw of the genres explored in D.Gray-Man. There are plenty of comedy moments throught the series (Allen and Kanda's realtionship, Allen and Cross' realtionship, Cross hitting on Women, Komui's obsession with Lenalee, etc.) and drama as well (The Fallen One, Allen's "death", Lenlaee asking Allen not to die in that flashback, Lavi's realtionship with the others and his job as a Bookman, Allen and Mana's realtionship, Mana's death, etc.) and I did not put gothic because, in my opinion, gothic referes to shows that are "constantly dark" or "overly dark" for the most part, which D. Gray-Man is not. It has comedy and uplifting drama as much as it has dark themes and sad drama. Also on the religion twist in the show, just because it twists religion does not mean it's gothic, are you going to go throw gothic on Berserk as well? How about throwing it on One Piece because the "heroes" aren't always good and the "villians" aren't always bad? gothic is a mislabeling based off the concept, of course this is all in my opinion, and I will leave it alone, but adventure, comedy, and drama are essential. Oh, and it has adventure because they go to different places, Noah's Ark, the headquarters, other countries during their jobs, all of that is adventure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DrBoondigga (talkcontribs) 22:21, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note that every shonen manga has comedy. The comedy genre is for series whose focus is comedy. By the way, the limit of genres is three.Tintor2 (talk) 23:01, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I saw here that you are trying to make an Allen Walker article. I found that has been featured in polls from some journals. Although I don't know the page, the sections from the polls from Newtype are named NT Research. Allen was featured in the category Best Male character, but Kanda and Yu have had higher rankings. In the May 2007 issue, he ranked 20th and in the May 2009 issue from Animedia he ranked 19th in the Character Rankings sections. Here is the ref for Newtype "NT Research". Newtype, Issue 6. Kadokawa Shoten. 2007. {{cite journal}}: Unknown parameter |month= ignored (help) Animedia, Issue 6. Yep. He shared the 20th spot with Light Yagami.Tintor2 (talk) 22:52, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, does the shonen jump archive has the date from Death Note's first appearance in Weekly Shonen Jump? List of Death Note chapters says it first appeared in the issue from December 2003, but that is unsourced.Tintor2 (talk) 00:34, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
