Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Terry Ann Felke-Morris. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 00:26, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Terry Ann Felke-Morris requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, TerryMorris99,

Your article was proposed for speedy deletion so I moved it to our working area and you can find it at Draft:Terry Ann Felke-Morris. It was marked for deletion due to a lack of notability of the subject but this is often addressed by a search for additional reliable sources. Liz Read! Talk! 03:39, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I will add that you may in fact be a notable person, but you should not be the person to create an article. The subject of an article is inherently incapable of being an objective judge of their own notability, as Wikipedia defines it.
You should also not aspire to have an article; see Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. The neutral point of view policy will ensure that both positive and negative material about you is fair game, if it is reliably sourced and presented with proper balance. Since Wikipedia has no interest in what an article's subject wants to say about themselves or how they wish to be portrayed, you will have no right of ownership or editorial control over the article's content. That is why we prefer that editors with no connection to the topic write articles, as they are able to write from the perspective of a disinterested third party. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:22, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
