I don't fully understand why you did that - could you explain? — metaprimer (talk) 08:51, 19 August 2007 (UTC) There are actually citations needed under Cosmology, Quantum field theory in curved spacetime, Einstein gravity is nonrenormalizable, Alternative theories and Status. Would it not make more sense to keep it at the top of the article, since there are [citation] notices all throughout the article? — metaprimer (talk) 11:21, 19 August 2007 (UTC) A remark on the changes to the references section of general relativity: On the talk page, we established a consensus about mid-July that this article would have separate notes and reference sections (as the notes would contain comments, not only pointers to references - just like in the case of this article's little sibling, Introduction to general relativity).
