Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Central Asia. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Mann Mann (talk) 16:32, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously?! Ferdowsi was just a medieval poet. Shahnameh is just a epic poem. Why did you add them as historical facts?! Read Indo-Iranians and Iranian peoples. Don't add your personal commentary, original research, and irrelevant stuff to the lead section. --Mann Mann (talk) 16:37, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the reference was already there, I checked the reference and who it was from and added the context for it.
stop vandalizing my other contributions to that page. just stop vandalizing that page. the references are all there. this is your first warning for your disruptive reverting.
there is no og research or personal commentary anywhere. I have no interest in edit wars, I will just report you. TheLastUbykh (talk) 17:55, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

{{help me-helped}} Please help me with...

Hi! I need help reporting Mann Mann and I think I already reported his vandalism on Central Asia to administrators. Should I do anything else? TheLastUbykh (talk) 19:27, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Per Special:Diff/1215724569, please make a report at WP:ANI if you think this needs administrator intervention. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 19:46, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is the difference between Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism and Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents? There are two pages. I used the previous one before for reporting the user. TheLastUbykh (talk) 20:08, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Working on question. Writehydra (talk) 20:22, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Resolved. WP:Administrator intervention against vandalism is about incidents for vandalism and spam, but WP:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents is for urgent incidents of chronic, intractable behavioral problems. Writehydra (talk) 20:27, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

some suggestions

[edit]

Hi TLU, some ideas that might make this place less stressful.

  • When you're new to a space, it is better to watch and learn and ask questions about how the place works and why people do what they do, before deciding that someone who disagrees with you is automatically evil. Consider the possibility that you might be wrong.
  • Mann Mann has been here 12 years and has made around 30,000 edits. This doesn't make them right about everything, but it makes it likely that your first step should not be to assume they are attempting to damage the encyclopedia. "vandalism" is not "something TLU disagrees with". Stop calling Mann Mann a vandal.
  • We try to operate on a Bold - revert - discuss cycle. You added content (bold), someone disagreed (revert), so it would generally stay out of the article until there's a consensus for it on the article talk page (discuss).

Hope that helps some. You're kind of on a poor trajectory here. --Floquenbeam (talk) 22:08, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
