Pump the brakes

Hello, TheTechnician27!

I'm aware that you raised a question on the purity of my contributions. I definitely agree, there is room for improvement. As you may see, the articles you've pointed out to are nowadays things, not being covered in books or so yet, so we barely can put a book or two into references and just refer to their various pages in contrary to American Wars and such.

I've struggling how to testify, for example, that band X and band Y have been playing together gigs very often therefore their members became friends, very familiar with each other and so on, unless marking all of the gigs done. That causes long references lists sometimes.

Right now, I'm promoting the Gentleman article (in Belarusian: https://be.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentleman_(альбом)) into good ones. You may put your + (plus) over the Belarusian Wikipedia here too: https://be.wikipedia.org/wiki/Вікіпедыя:Кандыдаты_ў_добрыя_артыкулы. (✿◕‿◕) I believe it will be adopted, cause Krylowicz, an assiduous admin over there, has already put a lot of work to improve the article to the highest standards. As you may see, the number of references is pretty on point. Again, as natives will decide on the GA mark (★), I will translate the best version of an article possible over here ASAP too. You may see that on the example of Jitters (has two ★ marks). You know, there are not many members here who are speak/read in Russian and Belarusian, so it causes misunderstanding sometimes.

Як вы можаце бачыць на маёй старонцы размовы, я рэдактар, які чысціць цытаты. Для мяне яны з'яўляюцца асновай Вікіпедыі. Хоць вы не можаце бачыць гэта шкодным для таго, каб, здавалася б, мець столькі інфармацыі, колькі магчыма ў спасылках, існуе мноства праблем, якія ўзнікаюць, калі прысутнічае занадта шмат цытат. Эсэ WP: CITEKILL тлумачыць гэта больш падрабязна.

Прычына, якую я паведаміў пра гэты канкрэтны выпадак непасрэдна адміністратарам, заключаецца ў тым, што артыкулы, прысвечаныя джэнтльмену і цырульню міру для валасоў - асабліва ў апошніх - з'яўляюцца аднымі з найгоршых выпадкаў выбуху ў цытаты, якія я калі-небудзь бачыў - гэта сюррэалістычны характар, і гэта пытанне ўвекавечана на працягу некалькіх месяцаў. Я веру, што Cabayi можа ведаць больш пра гэты пытанне, чым я, але ў канчатковым рахунку, гэта трэба адмяніць.

Магчыма, яшчэ больш важная праблема заключаецца ў тым, што гэтыя артыкулы, у першую чаргу, не могуць выконваць кіруючыя прынцыпы вядомасці. Каб быць зразумелым, калі тэма не характэрная, нічога вы, я ці любы рэдактар не ўмеем змяніць гэта (гл.: WP: AKON). Гэтыя артыкулы, у нейкі момант, павінны быць разгледжаны, і варта ведаць, што сотні легкадумных цытаты, як правіла, аказваюць эфект, каб зрабіць прадмет выглядаюць "менш" ", што WP: REFBOMB тлумачыць даволі добра . Netherzone: Same to you! I didn't want to award it until I knew the discussion was over, as I didn't want it to seem like I was trying to influence your vote, but you absolutely deserve it. The immediatist in me is just glad that the article has been meaningfully improved. Thank you for your efforts to give notable individuals from underrepresented groups a voice on Wikipedia and in general to make Wikipedia a better resource for everyone.
