Editting on Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi. I get the sense that you are discouraged because your addition to Magicians of Love was removed. The removal of the text was not meant to discourage you from contributing to Wikipedia. Because we don't know that you, and the author of the blog where the material came from are the same person, it's removed due to copyright concerns. WP:DCP explains how you could donate this material to Wikipedia. As I mentioned previously, the way you added this material was problematic. Replacement of an entire articl with the equivalent of a blog post is not appropriate.

I encourage you to take another try at improving the article. Use the existing material as a base and build on it. I'm willing to help you on this. I've also added a welcome message above that includes some useful links to learn a bit more about editting on Wikipedia. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 11:24, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
