Rickrolling and other such stunts

[edit]

If you try any of that, you will be blocked. Cullen328 (talk) 22:32, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok ok. I will not do that. Why? —The Industrial Me 1563 (talk) 09:15, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you're going to make jokes, at least make them original. —Tamfang (talk) 05:42, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A word of advice

[edit]

Either do something actually useful to Wikipedia, or find another website somewhere else to post on if that isn't why you signed up. Any more trolling like this [1] is liable to result in you being blocked indefinitely. AndyTheGrump (talk) 10:05, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok ok. Also, can you give me recommendations for some websites to post on if that isn’t why I signed up? P.S. I will calm down from the trolling. No trolling allowed on Wikipedia! —The Industrial Me 1563 (talk) 10:35, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
there's always Reddit —Tamfang (talk) 07:12, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But it has too much F-bombs and S-words. The Industrial Me 1563 (talk) 14:07, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
You are making overly aggressive demands of volunteers at help venues, and have made negligible main space edits. Cullen328 (talk) 17:47, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Y’all blockin’ me? I won’t do that in the future! I promise I won’t do that at help venues! This has driven me & my old other blocked IPs BONKERS since December 2022! I promise I won’t do that in January 2024! You’re controllin’ me like a literal Concorde flying uncontrollably at twice speed of sound! My edit to Indiana was good! —The Industrial Me 1563 (talk) 18:18, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. 331dot (talk) 20:15, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Awww…… but……… I just need………… help. —The Industrial Me 1563 (talk) 20:56, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My block review (hope that it will be accepted because I learnt the reasons from the decline reason of my old block review)

Request reason:

Hello. Before I was blocked in December 2023 for “negligible main space edits, aggressive demand for volunteers at help venues, and clearly not here to build an encyclopedia”, I was a good Wikipedian. I was known for my reference and help desk topics, and one of my most viewed edits is when I changed the word “private planes” to “general aviation” in the Indiana article. As I understand what I’ve been blocked for, my block is no longer necessary to create damage and disruption to Wikipedia, and will make useful contributions that will hopefully help build a free encyclopedia. I hope the block is accepted, and if it does, I will use Twinkle carefully to tackle vandalism, edit warring and so on, and will also use HotCat carefully for making articles go into new categories.

Decline reason:

This does not convince me you wouldn't simply resume your aggressive demands for help. Yamla (talk) 20:41, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(my rant) BUT THAT IS THE STUPID POINT!!!! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DECLINE MY BLOCK REQUESTS!? WHAT DOES “negligible main space edits” EVEN MEAN?! 😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I WILL MAKE NEW ACCOUNTS ON WIKIPEDIA!! DOES THAT SOUND LITERALLY OKAY?! —The Industrial Me 1563 (talk) 14:04, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
