License tagging for File:Veja panelaço.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Veja panelaço.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information. To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:30, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Oh, sorry, I just added db-author there as I meant to (did not know how to at the time) Thiagovscoelho (talk) 15:31, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of audiovisual works related to Spiritist phenomena until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on International Spiritist Medical Association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fram (talk) 15:29, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I added this, like the other article, to fix the broken link at Spiritism, which carried a reference to it that I translated from Portuguese. I won't add a message "contesting" the deletion because I really don't care. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 15:32, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since it did go down, I have nominated the Portuguese Wikipedia page for speedy deletion as well. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 18:49, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, it was removed there too. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 17:20, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your article creations

[edit]

When you are creating an article such as Accusations against Michel Temer by the Attorney General's Office (which appears to be a translation of pt:Denúncias contra Michel Temer pela Procuradoria-Geral da República, please note that it is a translation in the edit summary or on the talk page. OK, I will add this information to the talk page of today's creations within the hour. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 18:40, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! If you want to read more about the policies here, see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. I will note that page is a "guideline", and some of the requirements it describes may be considered more a best practice than a hard requirement. Walt Yoder (talk) 18:45, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:O_Jardim_das_Aflições.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:O_Jardim_das_Aflições.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? — Ирука13 20:42, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I thought it was sufficient to link to the other Wikipedia about this. I have added a rationale template but idk how much or what exactly I need to write. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 15:35, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Article assessments

[edit]

Hi, when you remove an old article assessment that you don't think applies anymore, like you did at A Preface to Paradise Lost, can you please make sure you don't remove the tag entirely? That removes the article from the Wikiproject! Just remove or update the inaccurate assessment itself. Thanks! -- asilvering (talk) 00:23, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Minerva Foods. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and as large sections are unsourced. . Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

As said in the creation message, that article was a translation of a corresponding article from Portuguese-language Wikipedia. I will nominate the original for deletion. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 17:58, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, looking again, I accidentally omitted some sources when translating. I will resubmit the article with the extra sources and hope it stays put after that.Thiagovscoelho (talk) 18:07, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, the draft is fixed and sent for review. If these sources are still not good enough then I will nominate the original for deletion as I said. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 18:17, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Spiritism (term)

[edit]

Hello Thiagovscoelho,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username FULBERT, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Spiritism (term), for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Spiritism. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|FULBERT}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

As said in the creation message, that article was a translation of a corresponding article from Portuguese-language Wikipedia. I do not know what rationale they had for having a separate article about the term, I just didn't want there to be a red link when I translated the main Spiritism article. I will not take any further action about it. Thiagovscoelho (talk) 17:55, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, as said in the creation message this was a translation from Portuguese-language Wikipedia. I have no research interest in the article myself, so I will attempt to move the original Portuguese-language page to draftspace as well, or nominate it for deletion. License tagging for File:Krafft-Ebingsches Familienwappen.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Krafft-Ebingsches Familienwappen.jpg.

As can be seen from messages higher up in this talk page, I had actually made it directly, but it was moved to draftspace, because I accidentally removed some citations while translating the source from Portuguese, and it wasn't notable enough without those. Good start. With wp:notability in mind, I'm approving: on source search/assessment as I don't see broad GNG sources in the article. Correspondingly, the content is mostly basic history factoids plus recent controversies. Suggest finding more sources that cover them in general and expanding by adding material from them. Deletion discussion about Instituto Mises Brasil

[edit]

Hello Thiagovscoelho, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Instituto Mises Brasil, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Instituto Mises Brasil.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Shushugah}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
