BTW, you seem to be somewhat overusing minor edits. You might want to read Wikipedia:Minor edit. Good work improving Hope Diamond though. — Bcat (talk | email) 23:17, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

March 2006[edit]

  1. Please don't insert line breaks like that. I have no idea what the purpose is, but I'm rolling back those edits because they are harmful. Everyking 11:39, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to reiterate Everyking's request. I have reverted your most recent edit [1] to the Warez article. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 10:00, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Please stop removing content from Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 10:09, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I AM NOT A VANDAL! I haven't removed text, I have added text. I worked on the Hope Diamond article among others and was COMMENDED for it. I have NOT been previously warned about alleged vandalism, in fact I have corrected articles such as the entry on the late actor David Janssen GIVING the CORRECT place of death. Just correcting minor details. NEVER removing text written by others. I don't know about the administrators here, I think that they need to INVESTIGATE circumstances in a complete manner before blocking useful members of the Wikipedia community. About line breaks? I don't even know what a line break is! I don't like the vandals destroying what is so dilligently written. AND NOW, I become a victim of them! Just please, let me contribute. Otherwise, I have better ways to waste my time online. Thank You for your attention to this matter. RockDoc 09:58, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
== ===August 2006=== I see the petty tyrants have been off chasing the real AOL vandals. Not to worry anymore. The solution for me was to use the SECURE (https) url for Wikipedia thus by-passing the AOL proxy mess where I was misidentified as a vandal in the first place. I suggest all AOL contributors to do the same lest they encounter the BLOCKS which are sure to follow any contributions to Wikipedia.T.E. Goodwin 22:48, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kathy Augustine Homicide[edit]

I noticed your recent comments on Talk:Kathy Augustine regarding the recent arrest of her widower, Chaz Higgs, in connection with her death. I agree with you that these developments need to be followed up on. Accordingly, I have added a "current event" tag to the "Death" section of the Kathy Augustine article. --TommyBoy 01:53, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering if you have heard or seen any additional information relating to the Kathy Augustine murder investigation. The article currently ends with Higgs awaiting extradition to Nevada, and possibly needs to be updated to reflect any more recent developments in the case. --TommyBoy 03:55, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chaz Higgs waived extradition from Virginia and is currently being held without bail in Reno. The Clark County Coroner exhumed her late husband's body for toxicological testing. The results of the forensic testing have yet to be released. Expect some more surprising developments in this case. T.E. Goodwin 05:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

March 2007[edit]

It appears that bail is going to be granted to Mr. Higgs this week, if he can raise the required $250,000. Two conditions: 1) That he doesn't leave the state of Nevada, and 2) that he check in with his defense attorney on a daily basis. Needless to say, the family of the late Ms. Augustine isn't pleased with this development. Source: www.lvrj.com T.E. Goodwin 00:03, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Outcome[edit]

  • Charged, tried, and convicted, Chaz Higgs sojourns at the High Desert State Prison just up the road from Las Vegas. As far as I am concerned he assassinated Kathy Augustine and I was surprised that he didn't recieve the death penalty. After a few years at this snake-pit of a prison, Chaz Higgs will probably wish that they had executed him with a humane lethal injection instead.T.E. Meyer's straitened/strained circumstances[edit]

I think "straitened" is correct, according to my dictionary.--Mantanmoreland 15:25, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • As you wish. Although, I think other readers are going to be confused just like I was.

noticed your comment under the Asterism (gemmology) talk page. Figured I would extend an invite to you to join our Wikiproject startup at WP:GEM. You would be an asset as an editor for the Gemology pages. Cheers. SauliH 02:56, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You for the invitation. I am currently an editor for THE GEMOLOGY PROJECT which is a "wiki" being produced by http://www.GemologyOnline.com I am trying to "budget" my spare time and will see what I can do before accepting more editorships.T.E. Goodwin 03:32, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can tell you that when I get a tang of hunger for something intelligent to peruse on the Internet, this is my place of refuge. I am sure that that you probably feel the same way as a "Wkipedian." T.E. Goodwin (talk) 12:52, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization[edit]

Hi TE, say, on all the horse articles where you replaced "born" with "foaled", can you also correct the capitalization and wikilink to foal so we don't keep getting the whines about using terms of art?? On the ones I watchlisted, they need to be lower case but you capitalized them (Yeah, I COULD fix them, but I'm on a dialup today, every page I have to load is another 5 minutes of my life I never get back...grin). North Tustin/Santa Ana[edit]

"North Tustin" has been adopted as an officially acceptable alternative name for the 92705 area code (which Foothill High School falls under). In other words, when mailing something to a 92705 address, you can put "North Tustin" in place of Santa Ana and it will arrive correctly.

"North Tustin" was adopted because the affluent citizens living in the hills did not want to be associated with the "poor hispanic" connotation of Santa Ana. I wish this was a joke. 69.105.108.160 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 11:33, 10 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

It took forever to find, but here's a source: "In mid 2005, the Tustin Chamber of Commerce reported that the U.S. Postal Service has approved the use of "North Tustin" as an acceptable address for the 92705 zip code." [2]. 69.105.108.160 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 11:51, 10 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
