But WIKI lists Irgun as a terrorist organization... ISRAEL lists Irgun as a terrorist organization. Isn't it a bit strange to allow a reference to Irgun to call it a "paramilitary organization"???

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rahm Emanuel. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please take your dispute to the talk page at Talk:Rahm Emanuel. Jeremy (talk) 16:10, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Rahm Emanuel page

[edit]

Hi, the best place to discuss the issues that you have with the Rahm Emanuel article is on the talk page for that article. Please scan the archives of that talk page though, because you will find that it has been extensively discussed previously (e.g. here, here, here, here, and here).

Also please note that just because one group or organisation labels another groups as terrorist does not mean that we should use that term on Wikipedia. Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy requires us to be neutral on such issues. —Jeremy (talk) 16:25, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last and only warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Rahm Emanuel. JDCMAN (talk) 16:39, 21 March 2011 (UTC) Vandalize??? Ha... Now I see who runs things on wiki.. I won't be back.[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:31, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Hello Tomstedham Welcome to English Wikipedia
Thanks you for your participation in this project. We hope that you will stay and contribute, and that you will find the experience enjoyable, in spite of your initial misunderstanding. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia that started in 2001, it is free for all to use and anyone may edit it. There are certain guidelines and principles that all users are expected to follow. These principles and guidelines are listed below—click on a link for more information. Before you leave you should consider familiarizing yourself with them so that you can avail yourself of the tools that are needed to be an editor. I might point out that rather than leave in a snit, you collaborate with fellow editors and resolve the situation that you uncovered. User:Jeremy and User:JDCMan are exceptional and forthright editors. You have mistaken their actions as an attack. The talk pages are available for discussion and collaboration.

This page is your Talk page. Here you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you should put your signature, by signing with four ~~~~ or by pressing the button in the editor bar—shown here in the picture. Do not sign in the articles themselves. Edit warring at Rahm Emanuel

[edit]

Hello Tomstedham. You have been reported for edit warring at WP:AN3#User:Tomstedham reported by User:RolandR (Result: ). You may respond there if you wish. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 04:54, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@ Editor:Tomstedham---see also The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Find a reliable source, that is not Wikipedia itself, that verifies your claim, and use it as your reference. Simple. Repeated re-submission in the face of contrary fellow editor consensus is edit warring and is not permitted. Also Simple. There is no plot against you.Buster Seven Talk 06:14, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
