The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. Diannaa - Thank you for your well stated remarks. I appreciate it. I just went to the MathSciNet page to add the kind of attribution you are talking about and found that you had already done it for me. In the few cases in the past where I did this, I usually said something about it on the associated Talk page. Those are on the right track. I'd be careful about saying he *invented* NSOM; from the article it looks like he made the first theoretical description of it, which was then forgotten and rediscovered in the 1980s, after others had done the experimental work necessary for an instrument to be constructed. It's still a very interesting story, but it needs to be accurately described. This can all be worked out during the DYK review; it's a friendly process.
