If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Journal of Public and Nonprofit Affairs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ESCI

[edit]

Hi, If you want to understand why I say that you shouldn't use WP articles as a source, you should go through the history of the ESCI article and see how it went from a critical article to an attack article to a whitewashed article. I originally had it on my watchlist, but in a period where I was cutting back the time I'm spending on WP, I removed it, with the foregoing result. I have restored the soruced criticism and now have it on my watchlist. The thing with WP is that we have many great articles. But with by now over 5.5 million articles and a finite group of editors, quality control is not always optimal. I used to have 5000 articles on my watchlist (now I'm down to 700 something) not even a drop in the sea of WP. Another aside: if you read Clarivate's own description of their databses, you'll see that their description of ESCi comes very close to what I have been arguing all along: journals that appear to be decent (but they get it wrong from time to time), but are not yet ready for the really important databases (i.e.: TOOSOON). ESCI is like DOAJ, which used to be a horrendous databse full of predatory journals. They've cleanup up since and by now being included in DOAJ means that a journal is (at least not overtly) predatory. However, just being honest doesn't mean notable and therefore we don't accept listing in DOAJ as an indication of notability either. I hope you don't mind me posting this here, because we have already cluttered up the AFD page enough (think of the poor closing admin who'll have to wade through all of that...) Hope this explains a bit more. --Randykitty (talk) 19:00, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Journal of Public Affairs Education.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Journal of Public Affairs Education.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:30, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
