Hello, Trivalent Understanding Noetics. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but Draft:Trivalent Understanding Noetics has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

Wikipedia:Identifying blatant advertising#Typical signs of blatant advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo. These are just rough guides. Pages can avoid all those pitfalls and still be glaringly obvious ad copy. Sometimes pages meeting WP:CSD#G11 give the appearance of an editor violating Wikipedia:Conflict of interest or WP:PAID. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

The new username you have chosen is acceptable, although a shorter and less cumbersome one might have been better; note that using your own name is allowable but is not a requirement. I understand that the username needs to be a person. I would like to change the username to Dr. Kwaku L. Carlisle Woods RN M.D. METD1 who is the name of the person the Wikipedia page is about. I want to acknowledge Dr. Woods work that includes information about a new genre of entertaining while teaching, ("edutainment") that he applies to what he coined the Trivalent Understanding Noetics, (T.U.N.). The Noetics portion includes Noetic Science created by Edgar Mitchell. Also, do I need to do three separate Wikipedia pages, (one on Dr. Woods, the Trivalent Understanding Noetics, and Edutainment)? I am Dr. Woods and the Wikipedia article is about me. What is different about the username and title? If there is a difference, how do I insert my name into the title for the page? The page is not intended to be used for promotion or marketing. I decided to write about myself in third person because I figured this is how I would have to write about myself on the Wikipedia article. I Am Dr. Woods and all I want to do is make a Wikipedia page as a reference for my students to gain information about myself. You still need to prove you are who you say you are as requested above. Wikipedia is not social media or free web space for you to tell your students about yourself. This is an encyclopedia. You should not create a new account, that is prohibited sock puppetry. Blocks are on the person, not the account. Ok I can definitely do that, but I looked in the last paragraph and I am not sure what email you speak of. If this is could work as well, I could send you my email and respond back or if you send me one, unless the email is the responder? Also what do you mean the block is on the person? Does that mean that even if I do show proof I wouldnt be able to use my name and I would still be blocked and not able to edit and try again? If so what will I need to do? The address is info-en@wikimedia.org and explain that you need to prove your identity. Regarding the block, you asked about making a new account- you cannot do this as the block is on you personally, not just this account. You can't edit under any account until the block is ended. Ok I understand what are saying and I appreciate you for breaking this down with me. I have one more concern, after I prove that I am myself, next I would have to do the unblock request. This means I have to request a new username and a valid reason to why I want to be unblocked and explain that I will do the necessary steps to edit properly correct? If so, my concern is will I be able to request my name again in hopes to be unblocked with a valid reason or would I not be able to request my name again and have to find another name? I did exactly what you told me to do and I didn't receive much help after prooving who I was. I am working from my own labtop and you are welcome to email me at hameerahwoods@gmail.com. When I am unblocked I want to know what changes I should make. From what I analized it appears I will need to change my name, remove my non-profit website prometheusreborn.com because that is considered to wikipedia as promotion of business and I must add more credible sources. Who was the volunteer that communicated with you?(their Wikipedia username, if you know it) In any event, you will need to make another unblock request. The purpose of me changing my name to myself is to fit wikipedia's standards. I was told that the current name that I have is innapropriate because it represents promotion or advertisment of a business or orginization. I understand that Wikipedia has a problem with me putting degree's/honorifics in my name. I can remove the degree's/honorifics from my name that I am trying to Request the unblock with. That's were I am lost. The reason I was blocked to my understanding was because it appeared that my article and name was used for promotion and advertising a business or organization. As I stated above in my previous unblock request that I intend to change my name, I will not use my article to promote a business or organization, I will have more credible sources and I intend to make all the necessary changes to my article to conform to Wikipedias standards. You will not be unblocked as long as we believe that you intend to write about yourself, your work, your publications or your organisation. If you are not interested in editing Wikipedia beyond writing about these things, you will not be unblocked and you are wasting your time by making unblock requests. The only way that an administrator is likely to consider unblocking you is if you state categorically that you will not write about yourself, your work, your publications or your organisation here again, and if you explain exactly what areas of Wikipedia you would like to work on instead.
