Response to a revert[edit]

I apologize for that revert, because it looked like a trivia section, something to clearly be avoided on Wikipedia. Looking back, your edit was perfectly fine, and I regret to have made that revert. Feel free to restore your edit. I must say that you handled the situation very well by contacting me. If you are unsure of something, you can ask a question at the Help desk, or you can get an experienced user as a mentor through the Adopt-a-User program. For general policies and info, check out the Manual of Style, and I'll be sending along a message normally sent out to new users on your talk page.

I wanted to add that you can add links to other Wikipedia articles by surrounding the full name of the article (case sensitive) by enclosing it in two brackets. e.g. [[Pulsed Laser Deposition]]. An optional parameter is the link as you'd like it to appear on the article, such as [[Wikipedia: Manual of Style|Manual of Style]]. For external links, the url is enclosed in one bracket, for example [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page], with the link as you'd like it to appear typed after the url, like [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Wikipedia Main Page]. I hope you continue to make edits!

You're doing VERY well[edit]

I just want to throw in some moral support. Your addition to Pulsed laser deposition was awesome, especially for a first edit! Unfortunately, it looked like you may have gotten scared off by getting erroneously reverted....you haven't even re-added your edit. :( We need more people like you around here with specific expert knowledge in certain domains. I've restored your edit, and hopefully you'll be back! audiodude (talk) 06:02, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
