Inverted breve[edit]

Please tell me how to put a symbol inverted breve ̑ in --Ujin-X (talk) 10:22, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Use the {{math}} template instead of LaTex: {{math|̑}} gives you this: ̑ That's how I'd do it... Yunshui  11:49, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Angular vector requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Nomination of Inverse vector for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Inverse vector is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inverse vector until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. D.Lazard (talk) 14:25, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You are being discussed at WT:WPM[edit]

Please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics#User:Ujin-X and vectors where people are not convinced that your approach to vectors is the standard one. You can respond there if you wish. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:51, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

June 2019[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Cross product for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Wikipedia is not a venue for original research, we're not here to discuss your proposed notion of "angular vectors" and you do not have a sufficient background to be talking about this subject. Quaternion[edit]

@Rgdboer: Let me answer on my page.Everyone knows that quaternions have greatly contributed to the development of vector theory. Although they are used to change the orientation of rectilinear vectors, there are also a number of problems in the quaternions, due to inconsistencies with vectors. For example, the product of basic vectors It uses algebraic product or cross product of vectors. If the cross-product, then where is the cross-product symbol? And if this is a cross product, then , and in quaternions — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ujin-X (talkcontribs)

This discussion is no more appropriate here than it is on the other talk page. If you have trouble understanding quaternion multiplication, WP:RDMA is there for you – but note that you will be granted little leeway there given that you refuse to listen when more experienced mathematicians point out the gaps in your understanding.--Jasper Deng (talk) 05:39, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jasper Deng:why can't I discuss anything on my page? --Ujin-X (talk) 06:05, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Because the talk page guidelines and user talk page guidelines do not allow the use of any page on Wikipedia as a forum. As explained to you pretty clearly by User:Someguy1221, we can't accept your ideas since they are not reliably sourced, thus they are off-topic to be discussed anywhere on Wikipedia.--Jasper Deng (talk) 06:19, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
