Welcome!

Hello, Und1sk0, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  The Neokid talk 11:01, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Christopher Michael Neill

[edit]

The article you created at Christopher Michael Neill was listed for deletion as An article about a real person that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject, criterion 7 in the criteria for speedy deletion, Articles section. Since it appears to be about you I've moved it to your user space instead, which was probably what you intended in the first place (a common mistake among newcomers!).

If you really did mean to create an article about yourself please be aware that this is often considered a bad idea, even if you do meet the guidelines for inclusion of biographies.

I know Wikipedia can be confusing for new editors, so you are welcome to ask for help at the help desk or on my talk page. Just zis Guy you know? 17:33, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Grog Shop

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Grog Shop, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Re:Grog Shop

[edit]

Hello Und1sk0, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! Although it may have not been your intent, your article, "Grog Shop", read like an advertisement. On Wikipedia, we have a policy in which advertising/spam is subject to on-sight deletion under speedy deletion criterion G11. Of course, you are certainly welcome to resubmit your article, but please ensure that the revised text is compliant with the policies and guidelines described at WP:ADS, WP:MOS, WP:V, WP:NPOV, WP:POV, and WP:GNG; otherwise, you run the risk of having the article deleted again. Once you have resubmitted your article, you may find WP:RFF helpful; the WP:RFF noticeboard has many editors who are more than willing to give you constructive criticism on your article and/or help edit your article. If you have any other questions or are in need of assistance, please feel free to let me know. FASTILY (TALK) 22:06, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
