- Nobody is saying you cannot edit an article in general but all editors are expected to learn how to edit to Wikipedia standards (see above links). Also, you seem to be admitting to a conflict of interest, and those with a conflict of interest should not be editing articles on subjects they are associated with -- this is pretty strict policy.
