Pashtun people

[edit]

Before adding or swapping images in the infobox again please read WP:IMAGE RELEVANCE. The two pics (Imran Khan and Ayub Khan) are already in the article, the guy with white beard is not that notable for inclusion in the infobox of this article, and the guy connected to Pakistan's nuclear bomb needs additional references to prove that he is Pashtun.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 21:01, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Gilgit–Baltistan, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Pakistan police articles

[edit]

Hi! I see youve recently moved a few Pakistani police articles to have the word "Pakistan" at the end. I'm afraid this doesn't fit with our policy on article titles, which you can read at Wikipedia:Article titles. We only use country names at the end of article titles where there's more than one body with that name - like "Punjab Police (India)" and "Punjab Police (Pakistan)" - so articles like Sindh Police don't need "Pakistan" adding onto the end because there's only one body called Sindh Police (and when we do have to add a country name, we also use brackets to make it clear that its not part of the actual name of that body). I'm going to go ahead and move them back to the correct names, but if do you have any questions feel free to shout! ninety:one (reply on my talk) 02:16, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Shakir Shujabadi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. —Largo Plazo (talk) 00:45, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pashtun people

[edit]

Regarding your edit at Pashtun people, there are two problems with it. The source (india.com) is unreliable and people such as Imran Khan do not qualify for the imagebox. His ancestors may have been Pashtuns but he's not. He could only be added in the body of the article like where Saif Ali Khan is, they both are only of Pashtun origin but they don't clearly relate to Pashtuns.--Krzyhorse22 (talk) 06:48, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Saeed Muntazim Shah

[edit]

The article Saeed Muntazim Shah has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Actor who has little notability and no reliable sources either

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks for uploading File:Pakchinaroutes.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. A tag has been placed on File:Pakchinaroutes.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  sami  talk 18:34, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Kumrat valley1.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kumrat valley1.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Your recently created articles.

[edit]

Hello Usman,

This is with your recently created articles such as Disticts of Sindh and Disticts of Azad Kashmir. They have an obvious spelling mistake because the corrected name are existing articles but are redirects to another source page which are detailed articles. Both your articles are under risk of being deleted as they meet the criteria for WP:A10. Only if the corrected titles get redirected to your articles can the titles be moved. For that to happen you must improve your articles i.e. they must offer additional information than what already exists in List of districts of Pakistan#Sindh and List of districts of Pakistan#Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Currently I see no additional information on either of your articles than what already exists in List of districts of Pakistan. I am glad that you are new and trying to create articles because I appreciate article creators. Please improve your articles so I can help you out with the redirect issues. You can reply here as I am watching this page. For future help you can also reach me at my talk page or email. Pixarh (talk) 17:40, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
