June 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Parque del Este has been reverted.
Your edit here to Parque del Este was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/parquedeleste, http://www.facebook.com/?sk=2361831622&s=100#!/group.php?gid=27564729768) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:10, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Veronidae, Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you so much for your new article on the land snail Calocochlia pan! I am part of WikiProject Gastropods, and we are happy to have this new article to add to our coverage. As you will see I went through it and fixed it up a bit, including more up-to-date taxonomy. I noticed you also have done a number of other edits on gastropod articles on Wikipedia so it seems you have a real interest in snails. I am giving you this invitation:

I've noticed your edits on pages relating to Gastropods; perhaps you'd be interested in joining WikiProject Gastropods?

Your list articles on molluscs of Venezuela[edit]

Hello again Veronidae. Thanks so much for both of your new articles on the mollusks of Venezuela. I was surprised to see them – they look very nice! That must have been really a lot of work! I myself am studying Caribbean mollusks so these articles were particularly interesting to me. Did you illustrate one article from your own collection of shells? If you ever change your mind about joining WikiProject Gastropods, please feel free to let me know. Best wishes, Invertzoo (talk) 01:15, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Veronidae for your note. You made good improvements and additions to the non-marine mollusks of Venezuela list. You are very kind to offer to help out. I have never been to Venezuela; the closest I have been is St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I go to Nevis every year. I know the Caribbean shells pretty well, but there are a few species on your coast that don't occur further north. Best wishes, Invertzoo (talk) 13:57, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! :)[edit]

Thanks for your article on Vasum muricatum! Best wishes, Invertzoo (talk) 02:46, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Atrina seminuda, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Miranda and Vargas (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Pliciloricus enigmaticus may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

File:Carolinas Islands coin 2013 derivate 000.jpg[edit]

Hi. I see that you uploaded File:Carolinas Islands coin 2013 derivate 000.jpg. I noticed that this recent edit removed an instance of that image, saying "Removing the image of a coin - the coin is fake". You might want to contact that editor and ask about that edit. Cheers. Heads up![edit]

Wikispecies has been taken over by a ruthless (and clueless) dictator named Dan_Koehl. He is presently removing Category:Venezuela Gastropoda from all the pages that you categorised (e.g. here). Feel free to make a big fuss! Entomologist2 (talk) 22:23, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
