Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as House (astrology). You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:56, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Eclipses: Astronomically and Astrological Considered and Explained

[edit]

Hi, I'm Graeme Bartlett. Victor CWT, thanks for creating Eclipses: Astronomically and Astrological Considered and Explained!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. For articles about books, we need to hear what other people have written about it, eg book reviews.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Tunnel Thru the Air; Or, Looking Back from 1940, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Law of Three (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Deletion discussion about LOMA 280 Principles of Insurance

[edit]

Hello, Victor CWT,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether LOMA 280 Principles of Insurance should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LOMA 280 Principles of Insurance .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Slatersteven (talk) 11:03, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Square of Nine for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Square of Nine is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Square of Nine until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:23, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article Transit of Saturn: Critical Ages in Adult Life has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability per WP:NBOOK, and no significant coverage online from WP:Reliable sources to indicated notability per WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Michael Alan Singer

[edit]

Hi Victor CWT,

Thank you for creating and improving the article about "Michael Alan Singer". I'm writing to you because I noticed that you don't add categories to your articles and that you also removed the categories after I added them. I just want to make you aware that categories are important features in Wikipedia that must be present in every Wikipedia article. They are always added at the end of the article and are in the form of "[ [Category : *******] ]". Please readd the categories to "Michael Alan Singer" and take care of categories in the future. Many thanks. If you need help, please contact me. --Brainist (talk) 11:34, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Neville Lancelot Goddard requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. The article Planetary Stock Trading has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced (the two citations simply repeat publishing data). The article info simply repeats what might be in book. Not notable.
