Thanks for uploading File:VIKTOR O LEDENYOV WIKIPEDIA CITY OF KHARKOV STATE OF UKRAINE 22062014.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. A tag has been placed on Bar Castle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Deletion discussion about Viktor O. Ledenyov

[edit]

Hello, Viktor O. Ledenyov,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Viktor O. Ledenyov should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Viktor O. Ledenyov .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Yarra Valley Limo Wine Tours, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.yarravalleylimowinetours.com.au/about-us.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Conflict of interest?

[edit]

Perhaps it is just a coincidence of surnames, but please ensure you are compliant with Wikipedia's policy on conflict-of-interest editing when adding content about Dimitri O. Ledenyov as you did at James Cook University. I would also suggest that the amount of content you are adding there is disportionate to the usual short sentence per person, as the presumption is that those added will have their own article to provide further information about their merits. Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Viktor O. Ledenyov, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request reason:

I make various contributions from multiple computing devices. The User:Dr.K. and User:BU Rob13 from Canada made no single meaningful contribution to Kharkiv, never ever visited the city and have no idea about the subject of discussion, but tried to delete and destroy the well presented information about the investment agencies in Kharkiv. I think User:Dr.K. and User:BU Rob13 have to try to write and create rather than to delete and destroy as far as the information about Kharkiv or any other subject is concerned.

Decline reason:

Since the block is because of things that you have done, not for things that Dr.K. and BU Rob13 have done, your opinions of their editing are irrelevant, and you have not given any reason at all why you should be unblocked. Request reason:

The organization of personal attacks by "editors" with the hidden real names User:Dr.K. and User:BU Rob13 from Canada against Viktor O. Ledenyov in Wikipedia is absolutely unacceptable. The multiple attempts to delete the well written information with references, related to the investment in Kharkiv, can not be considered as valuable contribution by User:Dr.K. The cyber attacks by User:Dr.K. and User:BU Rob13 is, in my opinion, a real shame to the Canadian PM and the Government of Canada, which encourage this kind of activities in Wikipedia!

My good Viktor Ledenyov, I've read your 'Forecast in capital markets.' and it's a good book with extraordinary breath of scholarship. Thank you for adding it to our capital markets article. I like your generosity in acknowledging the work of so many of your peers. Also I agree the multi disciplinary approach you and your brother champion promise to yield valuable insights on how to improve our understanding of the economy.

However, the book's let down by quite frequent use of poor English. I can give you some examples if you like, but don't want to write a too long post on your page unless you would welcome it?

What I will say now is that many editors here don't believe one should cite one's own work.

Also, there are strong disadvantages to editing here in one's own name. You should maybe think of abandoning this account, and coming back next year with a new account name that does not identify you. Otherwise the elite editors who control Wikipedia may permaban you.

Please understand I am only giving this advise as I'd like to see more of your work here. The Wikipedia desperately needs more scholars like yourself with good local knowledge of eastern Europe so we have good balanced coverage about the world. But it's probably best for such editors not to edit in their real name, especially if they are accomplished people like your good self. FeydHuxtable (talk) 10:30, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Forecast in Capital Markets

[edit]

The article Forecast in Capital Markets has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable book. WP:BK

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, thank you for you contributions to WP. However, your addition of dozens and dozens of photographs to the Bar article is not helpful. Please see WP:GALLERY. Articles for do not have comparable galleries - that is because they are counterproductive and against policy. Articles are not meant to be scrapbooks of photos, and WP is not a place to post images that you have taken. Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity.
