Hello, Vincente1. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Eric Adu, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Eric Adu to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Wgolf (talk) 19:43, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Eric adu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ► LowLevel (talk) 08:37, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Kwabena Agouda  with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 11:02, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jim, how are you doing. Yes is true I did some changes but thanks for restoring the editing. I want to do exact thing for one of players to have details on Wikipedia. How can I go about it. Vincente1 (talk) 11:07, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Eric Adu has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. All articles on living people need to be WP:INLINECITED. Without this, the reader can't see where each point has come from, and so can't easily use it for research. It also puts others editing, because it's all so unclear and means it can't reach Good or Featured Article. Please WP:INLINECITE this article. A tag has been placed on User:Vincente1, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Reply[edit]

Hi, thanks for message. You user page is for you to tell us about your activities on Wikipedia, not to promote your company, Even as an article i would have deleted it because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation company, press releases, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company organisation claims or interviewing its management. Your only reference didn't work. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • I can't see any claim of notability, there are no facts about the company at all. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, turnover or profits. representing notable footballers doesn't make your company notable
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. Thank you for declaring your interest. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest.
  • since it's your own company, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Vincente1. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Vincente1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please provide the required disclosure. note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Before attempting to write an article again, please check that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and make sure that you can find independent third party sources. Also read this important guidance. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:50, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Vintels sports agency (March 14)[edit]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was:

This draft is written from the viewpoint of the company, focusing on what the company says about itself. Corporate notability is based on what independent reliable sources have written about the company.

This draft reads like a directory entry, but Wikipedia is not a directory. This draft does not establish notability.

This draft has no references. Notability cannot be established without references. Do not resubmit this draft without references.
