Notability

Dude, Vice Chancelors of major universities in commonwealth countries are notable as per WP:Academic. Then why you are tagging Notability tags? Powerful Karma (talk) 12:02, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Powerful Karma while having closed the AFD with a speedy keep, I havent found any data on "common wealth countries" being a factor as you mention. I tagged your articles for notability because you have used sources that are based on press releases or primary sources. Having been at the AFD, the need for WP:RS is imbibed. Hope that clarifies. Powerful Karma - while this is not being deleted simply because WP:Academic is an alternate to WP:GNG, this is a very good lesson for us to remember that no matter what, we must remember WP:INDEPENDENT and WP:RS along with WP:VER.
