Images

[edit]

You appear to be copying images from other locations on the internet and labeling them as "own work". Please go to commons when you get a chance and fix that. If there is not a compatible license, then they should be deleted immediately. Do not add them here until you've done this. Kuru (talk) 17:24, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Commons barely works. I tried to use commons as a chance, and was denied. It's the only way to DO any, MAKE any actual process on Wikipedia. I have no idea how to contact any of the original owners, and the original owners aren't even stated in any of the websites/sources I used. Sorry If I come off as mean, but seriously, where the hell do i find these owners, and how do I know they're not dead? There was not a single thing claiming the work was copyrighted. There is no fair use or any actual licence to put under as that involves going through a thousand different hurdles and then not even getting the file accepted. Again, I'm sorry if it seems like I'm yelling/being stpid for the fun of it. Just very confused.Vineyprincess (talk) 14:33, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dealing with global copyright laws is pretty complex. There are some instance where you can use the works of others under "fair use", but it's rare and - as you note - not fun. One thing I am sure of, copying those images and pretending they're yours is a bad idea. I would suggest just avoiding adding images for now. Kuru (talk) 20:16, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
