DGG ( talk ) 05:14, 18 April 2020 (UTC):The above is our form notice, but I want to say, not as part of a form, but on the basis of my views of many thousands of drafts over many years, how very much impressed I am by your very high quality article. I hope you will continue--other major historical industrial concerns need similarly careful treatment. DGG ( talk ) 05:17, 18 April 2020 (UTC)I apparently made a error, for I carelessly omitted a proper copyright check, and it seems that altogether too much of the material is copied and needs to be rewritten. . The Burgess Battery Company moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, The Burgess Battery Company, needs a copyright check. I apologize for not doing it myself. . I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where it can be dealt with minimal disruption. until is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. DGG ( talk ) 23:16, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
- You can see more details by looking at the Earwig report. The areas marked in red are where material was copied from somewhere else. Other than the copyvio problems, this is a really great history, so thank you for writing it. Once it gets cleaned up to remove the copied material, I'll be happy to move it back to main article space. You'll want to read Wikipedia:Copyright violations to learn about our copying policies. In a nutshell, we are very conservative about complying with copyright law, which generally means writing everything in your own words, not just taking existing text and tweaking it a bit here and there. Please let me know if you have any questions. -- RoySmith (talk) 23:36, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
