A tag has been placed on Naaptol.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Cindy(talk to me) 14:00, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Naaptol.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Article deleted again

[edit]

I have deleted your Naaptol.com article again because it still reads too much like an advertisement. Please do not recreate it - if you do you run the risk of being blocked from editing.

Based on a quick Google search, I suspect that the company may be notable enough for inclusion here, but any article must be written from a neutral point of view. If you still want to work on writing the article, I suggest you continue to improve the draft in your sandbox - you should work on making the writing more encyclopedic, including more details about the company itself - its history, etc - instead of how it can supposedly benefit its customers. It's also important that you include more independent references to show its significance. Hope this helps,  —SMALLJIM  16:24, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Naaptol.com

[edit]

Hello, Webmaster.gitesh,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Naaptol.com should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Naaptol.com .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Skrelk (talk) 05:13, 3 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then....

[edit]

I have userfied the article to User:Webmaster.gitesh/Cashkaro, which means it is not in wikipedia article space. What you should do is write it in a more neutral and less promotional tone and consolidate the references. Once it has changed it can be looked at for return to proper article space. Good luck. CashKaro

[edit]

I've edited your CashKaro page to remove the advertising and promotional language. If you do't like the result, feel free to re vert it!

I did not check the references. When making the article live they will be checked, and they have to pass as Reliable Sources - follow that link to see what might qualify.

I renamed the Finances section to Rewards. It had very little (nothing) about their finances, but does contain what the customers and affiliates are getting from then so Rewards seemed a better heading. Something about the numbers looks odd to me though; it's quite possible that I've got something wrong about this section. Again feel free to edit anything I've got wrong.

I changes the numbers from crores as not many outside India understand them. I believe that 1 Crore = 10,000,000? That's what the linked Crore page seems to say. Again I might have got this wrong.

Finally, I did look at some of the sources (e.g. to see what GOCF stands for). You need to be carefull when writing here: you must rewrite sources in your own words and not just copy what the source says. If you just copy, that is counter as a copywrite violation and will get the offending text deleted very quickly. If you do enough copywrite violations you will end up being blocked from editing for various amounts of time although you will get warnings before it that far!
