Don't see any other comments on the talk page of the article, unless I can't view it correctly. The encyclopedic writing in this article is different from persuasive writing in that it only aims to present facts to the reader, not to convince them of a broader message. Because most of the information comes from archeological or literary evidence from the time period written about, there is not bias from the person writing the article. [edit]Message that article needs additional citations for verification - The article seems neutral, most of the content is factual and from a reliable source, not opinion based. - The viewpoint of the importance of the forum is heavily represented, but that was an important part of Roman culture so it is relevant. The importance of language, religion, and the arts is also emphasized, and backed up by archeological and written evidence. - The links I clicked to check citations all worked, and the article didn't appear to plagarise or paraphrase too closely.Wfrigeri (talk) 00:08, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
Dear Will, I think this looks okay as a starting point, but you will wish to narrow the area of focus for your entry. Culture of Ancient Rome is very broad, and you want to zoom in and find something more specific within that topic to allow you to make a real contribution. Hey Will, since there are many subsections under the Culture of Ancient Rome (Clothing, Food, Education, Literature, Visual Arts...) itt will be easier to edit and add to a specific section rather than attempt to explain it as a whole. I thought it could be interesting to examine how education or clothing changed under the reign of a specific emperor or in a specific time line. Also if you choose food, it might be helpful to examine if all roman citizens ate the same kind of food and identify how food for wealthy and powerful citizens compared to those against the weak, where the food originates from and how it was made.
