I'm in favor of letting someone take over my draft. I went ahead and moved the article to mainspace. I can't seem to find anything in the usual sources for some reason, but if someone else takes over, I'll let others do whatever needs to be added.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:35, 4 July 2017 (UTC)

Always easier to find other editors when its in mainspace, so hopefully it helps. I won't be taking over, but I will doing what I can with it, and watching the page. WikiVirusC (talk) 21:42, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. You took care of some of the details I forgot. I shouldn't have hesitated about moving to mainspace because the show is notable, but it's always a concern when there's so little information.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 14:26, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
I doubt I'll be adding more. I don't even watch the show.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 15:40, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
Yeah I'm in the same boat, don't watch & don't plan to watch, but I will try and keep episode table updated, and when more information comes when season finishes and French version is produced, I will search for sourceable information to add. The article is out there now and linked to, so actual viewers may find it and updated it before than. WikiVirusC (talk) 15:42, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
I'm glad you thought the show was important enough to have a stub article. On one of the various Help Desks, which I enjoy reading, one person has said there should be no more new stub articles because Wikipedia has evolved. I disagree. In cases like this one, there ought to be at least a stub article if that is all we can create with our rules about sources. I'm always trying to create articles when I see topics that aren't covered, but sometimes, I don't have enough success with sources to feel confident the article will stay.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:56, 6 July 2017 (UTC)
Yeah I know what you mean. The show passes both WP:GNG and WP:TVSHOW so shouldn't be an issue of it stay around, and with the branding of the series already licensed out to one international market, it's a topic that will need more than just a small section on Steve Harvey's page. I also disagree with the premise that no new stubs should be allowed. A viewer from of the show could come around and look for information on wikipedia about it, and see just the stub. They may see the stub template at top that says they can help by expanding it, and they proceed to do so with the information they can, and wikipedia gets a new editor out of it. WikiVirusC (talk) 22:24, 6 July 2017 (UTC)

I decided I should document where I found the statement stubs shouldn't be created. It wasn't that hard. This is the Teahouse question where the comment was made.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:29, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Drive by...

Hi, WikiVirusC, your observations on that highly charged political article are a welcome addition. Thank you. Are you currently active as a WP:GA reviewer? If not, you should be. Have a great weekend! Atsme📞📧 17:23, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the comment and recommendation. Even though I also believe the article should be merged, since it currently is a standalone article I want it to at least to be up to Wikipedia standards.
I am currently not a reviewer, and will probably try and at least get some of my own article, and article improvements up to GA status before I consider actively reviewing. I do occasionally read through submissions and watch the reviewers and the process of nominations. WikiVirusC(talk) 17:46, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

I agree that The Rescuers (2013 film) should be speedily deleted, but not as a copyright violation. As indicated at the bottom of the page at http://research.omicsgroup.org/index.php/The_Rescuers_(book), that source "is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article The Rescuers (book)". Rather, the problem is that there was no 2013 film of The Rescuers, so the article is a hoax. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 23:55, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

Ah I missed that completely that it was a wikiclone. I had thought of submitting as both coypvio and hoax but ended up only one. I had only looked at the 1977 film page, I should of looked for the book as well and might have noticed the text was from there. Thanks for updating the tagged criteria. Sundar Ghazaryan

Hello ! As you tagged Suren Ghazaryan for proposed deletion I want to notify you that I have removed proposed deletion tag the reason is the article already had a source verifying the existence of the person. And the person is a retired judge of the supreme Court of Armenia, which passes the notability for living people criteria further I have too added an additional source. And I have removed unsourced contents per WP:BLP at that page. If you have any questions feel free to ask it on my talk page. Have a lovely day Anoptimistix Let's Talk 03:21, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

P.S - Though the source was in Armenian i translated it in English using Google translation. Anoptimistix Let's Talk 03:23, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

I added the BLPROD when it was created and had no sources. He is a living person and that is what the tag is for. WikiVirusC(talk) 03:29, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

JenkinsEar2k Rivalry

I see that you mentioned "Unnamed, non-notable premature rivalry" Do you live in Orlando or Atlanta??15:49, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Coolyfett

@Coolyfett: : A rivalry that is only notable in one or specific local region may not be notable in the grand scheme of things. A rivalry based only one one game played is a lot less likely to be notable for Wikipedia purposes. The article itself has sources that refer to a potential future rivalry, but none of them refer to it as the JenkinsEar2k Rivalry, this does not need to be mentioned in the MLS rivalry page yet, and definitely not by this name which I can find no source for.
Also in future, you should add comments for talk pages to the bottom. You can do this easily by pressing the "New Section" link on the top of talk pages. WikiVirusC(talk) 16:02, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Meeting

Re: my addition. I added it because the whole section was wrongfully removed so I added a source that specifically named the Trump Jr. meeting rather than the generalization of the Trump campaign. Atsme📞📧 14:07, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

I was just rewording it a bit, but as I was, it seemed redundant. I do not see a reason to remove the entire section. WikiVirusC(talk) 14:15, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

Also I was just adding this over on Fusion GPS talk page, but rather than pinging I'll put here. With this edit, I think it probably needs to be redone/adjusted. A lot more relevant information could be used.

July 26, 2017: Senate investigations into Fusion GPS uncovered additional information about the kind of research conducted by Fusion GPS. It was reported that the research firm "was commissioned by interests aligned with the Democratic party to produce (possibly with the help of the FBI) the famed “dossier” containing some outlandish and disproven allegations on Trump’s Russia connections." Allegations are that the firm was hired simultaneously "to work for Putin’s moneyed interests in the West." The Senate hearing that was originally scheduled to include testimony from Donald Trump Jr. and Paul Manafort prior to their agreeing to private meetings "was cut short when Democrats invoked a rule to stop committees from meeting more than two hours once the Senate goes into session." The timing of the delay occurred "just before committee members took testimony from British-American businessman and anti-Kremlin crusader Bill Browder, who has called Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson a “professional smear campaigner.”"

The first sentence says they uncovered additional information, but does not say what, since the next sentence talks about the dossier and its contents/allegations which is not new, and already mentioned in article. The wording is mostly taken from the opinion magazine, but it doesn't actually mention anything new, or related to the Senate Committe investigation subheading, or the July 26th hearing. Drump Jr. and Manafort aren't realted to Fusion GPS, there relevance in this article is what exactly? They are 2-3 steps removed from Fusion GPS directly and they were there to talk about the campaign meeting anyways not Fusion GPS. Let's keep it about Fusion GPS specifically. The only relevant bit of information is Browder's testimony about Fusion. Other stuff is already in the article, or doesn't belong in article. Could you please explain...

In this this edit you refer to an RFC on The Daily Mail. I know it has a lot of coverage, perhaps trivial and or sensational coverage of celebrities... But I have never had any reason to doubt its coverage of hard news, like terrorism. Its terrorism coverage is superior to, for instance, Fox News, IMO.

So, could you provide a link to this RfC?

As for the foreign language references to Sepulveda -- don't these establish that she was the subject of articles around the world? Geo Swan (talk) 20:48, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

@Geo Swan: The Daily Mail rfc can be found here. There is no reason to show multiple articles to reference the same information. i didn't remove the articles, but 6 articles that detail the same thing(her name, who she is, her rise to fame) is unnecessary in my opinion. I only removed the duplicate reference, and also removed the non-english quotes which aren't needed on the English Wikipedia. WikiVirusC(talk) 21:29, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

[1] Thank you for rewriting instead of just reverting. I know I shouldn't have to thank someone for doing some genuine collaboration the way it's supposed to work, but I guess that's where Wikipedia is right now. FredericaFan (talk) 18:45, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Not a problem. The section needed to stay there, and people can just add more detail as it comes out, so just reworded/retitled and left it there as it should be. WikiVirusC(talk) 19:20, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
