Does buying a book for inclusion in references here count as encyclopedic?

If you mean can you use a printed book as a source to cite information in a Wikipedia article, yes you can. Sources do not need to be available online. It helps, but it is not required. Sources also do not need to be free or easy to access- but they do need to be publicly available. Whether you purchase a book in a store, or borrow one in a library, the result is the same. 331dot (talk) 19:38, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
