March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Geraldo Perez. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Good Dinosaur, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:44, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

January 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Jane Krakowski. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. See WP:FILMOGRAPHY, look at the examples. If you are going to edit these, there is no reason not to do it correctly. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:35, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also note that "director" is not one of the columns that goes in an actor's filmography. The film is linked in the entry. Crew info is at the linked film article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:52, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Jane Krakowski, you may be blocked from editing. Geraldo Perez (talk) 21:27, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As per my reversion, addition of rowspan to the 'Year' column is optional and thus unnecessary and should be abandoned if challenged. In addition, you are eliminating the 'unsortable' parameter from the 'Notes' column which should not be done, and you are (weirdly) bolding titles which should not be bolded. Finally, the 'scope=row' setting needs to go into the first cell in every row (IOW, in needs to go into the 'Year' cell(s))... Your other changes look fine. --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:42, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, do not add a 'Directors' column – these are substantially disfavored in WP:FILMBIO, and lately the trend has been to remove that from those articles where they are still present. Please do not add a 'Directors' column back again – doing so would certainly be WP:Disruptive editing at this point. --IJBall (contribstalk) 00:00, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Jane Krakowski shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --IJBall (contribstalk) 04:49, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Miguel Sandoval. Deliberate disruption, failure to communicate. You have been directed to guidance on how to do filmographies correctly, have had it demonstrated to you, yet still persist in corrupting articles by deliberately doing it incorrectly.
