Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Koo Kumi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at African Union. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Symmachus Auxiliarus (talk) 22:32, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Are you familiar with what is happening in Nigeria or you are a bot? Yawkumi (talk) 23:22, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm not a bot, and I am at least marginally familiar with what you're talking about. However, you can't reasonably think it was even somewhat appropriate to insert that statement into the lead of the article. Not only is not neutral, but it's largely opinion, and it's totally out of place in that paragraph. You were obviously intending to make a point, and it was definitely vandalism- it wasn't really meant to be a constructive contribution. That aside, addition of properly sourced information is fine, with neutral wording. You've been around long enough to know that was inappropriate, and if it was meant to do more than make a point in some way, it certainly didn't follow our polices. Anything that starts out with "The African Union is a useless organization..." is not a serious contribution. Symmachus Auxiliarus (talk) 23:29, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Symmachus Auxiliarus: Could you please check Yawkumi's recent edits for similar edits? I just reverted one myself. I have to log out imminently or I would do it myself. Yawkuli, your edits violate WP:NPOV and are disruptive. Please stop now.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:32, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ponyo: No problem. I've just done so, and they seem to have already been rightly reverted. Going to ping @WeifengYang: since they also reverted a few of them, and so that they're aware of this conversation. Yawkumi, I'm not an administrator, so take this with a grain of salt, and as helpful advice from one Wikipedia user to another. All of those contributions can reasonably be considered vandalism. At the very least, it's disruptive editing in order to make a WP:POINT. Most people would be blocked immediately to prevent further disruption, but instead, consider this a formal warning. Doing something like this again will result in either a WP:NOTHERE or WP:CIR block. Probably the former, because I think you know better than this. Discuss serious changes on the talk page, if you want to argue that this material should be included. But this is not a good look. Symmachus Auxiliarus (talk) 23:52, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Koo Kumi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
