November 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CLCStudent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Farlingaye High School have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. CLCStudent (talk) 16:10, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Farlingaye High School. CLCStudent (talk) 16:11, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been indefinitely blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. Vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. banned for no reason[edit]

Why have I been banned? Youcannystopme (talk) 17:46, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Youcannystopme, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Request reason:

Done nothing wrong I just tested to see whether I could edit pages then I got blocked. I created a second account becuase you blocked me for testing things out and I got blocked becuase I have the same name as the other account. I think your doing this becuase I support the SNP and Scotland. Don’t use political views as a reason to block someone

Decline reason:

I don't care what your political views are or what your views on Scottish independence are; I do care about this project, and it's clear that you have little interest in participating in it constructively. To be unblocked, you will need to describe what constructive edits you want to make and give sufficient assurance that you will not continue to disrupt Wikipedia. As you have not done those things with this request, I am declining it. 331dot (talk) 20:35, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Let me explain so you can understand. I was simply testing to see whether wikipedia would let me edit pages properly or whether it would simply delete my edits witjhout reason. For the case of Farlingaye High school the later was chosen by wikipedia. prior to all the nonsense,There had just been a fire in school(I'm not joking about this) and school had been trying to cover it up. So I hopped on wikipedia and added a paragraph in the history of the school about this event.Before the paragraph even made it to the site, it had been Uneditied by a bot(CLCSTUDENT), so I thought maybe if I created an account(youcannystopme) then wikipedia would allow my edit to stay. I Couldn't be bothered to rewrite about the fire so I just changed a couple of letters on the page.My edits where undone(again!!!!!)And so I turned to Ronald mxdonalds page to see whether it was just farligayes page that was stopping me from spreading the truth(the school is very controlling)I edited the Ronald McDonald page and what do you know it instantly undid the edit.Shortly after this I got banned so created youcannystopme2 where I was planning cowrite genuine articles about local areas.But wikipedia was like ("not today fool"-paraphrasing) and blocked my second account for sock puppets.PLease unblock me and let me prove my worth and then decide whether my account should remain Blocked. ITs not misinformation as the fire actually happened at school.

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas. Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. Yunshui  22:05, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks yunshui.

By the way when am I going to be unblocked , is there a set date or is it when I complete the homework you’ve set me. Youcannystopme (talk) 22:17, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are blocked indefinitely; you will only be unblocked when an administrator believes that doing so would be of benefit to Wikipedia. You can choose to avail yourself of the second chance offer I have made above or not; doing so will increase the likelihood that an appeal will be accepted but it is not mandatory and you can still post another unblock request without following those instructions - they are there to aid you in making it obvious to the reviewing administrator that you are here to contribute constructively, and are not a specific condition for being unblocked. Yunshui

i was trying to copy part of the text so I could make my edits(for the homework you set me) and when I copy it and paste it into a new talk page, it keeps coming up with some capture thing. I don’t know what to do. I’m using Wikipedia app.

You may find it easier to use the full version of Wikipedia, even on a phone in an internet browser. The bottom of every page should have a 'Desktop' that you can click to change the version. I think you are referring to a Captcha, which is meant to verify that you are a human being and not a robot. You will need to do whatever it has you do to verify you are a human. 331dot (talk) 08:53, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks 331. Youcannystopme (talk) 08:54, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also what happened to yunshui. I thought he was on my case. Youcannystopme (talk) 08:55, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

We are all volunteers here, who do what we can when we have time to do it. I can't speak to Yunshui's whereabouts but they have other things to do in their lives, as we all do. We don't really have 'cases' assigned to particular users here. 331dot (talk) 09:07, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
