What Wikipedia isn't[edit]
It isn't a place to post your CV. It is an encyclopaedia, not a web host or a directory. There are plenty of places where you can host your CV - LinkedIn and Facebook come straight to mind. CVs are usually to show how good someone is when they are looking for jobs. Here, we regard that as advertising. Also, to have an article on Wikipedia, a person must be shown to pass WP:BIO, with reliable independent sources WP:RS to prove it.
