Consensus on defections

Hi. I wanted to know whether a consensus was achieved on your RfC at WP:Indian politics regarding defections.

Due to ambiguity, the assembly pages of Punjab and Tripura are showing outdated information and have lots of discrepancies between party totals and MLA's. The Punjab page also has a lot of IP vandalism because of it.

I see on the RfC that most people agree that parties should be changed right away in case of defections. Could you draw a consensus on that RfC so that those 2 assembly pages can be properly updated? Thanks! Dhruv edits (talk) 15:25, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

@Dhruv edits: Hi! Sorry for not responding faster, I'm taking a bit of a break at the moment. Because it's an RfC, it has to be closed by an uninvolved editor. At some point an uninvolved editor will close it as having been settled in a particular way. I suspect they will relist it instead as only 5 editors have commented and consensus hasn't really been achieved. YttriumShrew (talk) 23:10, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
