I have nominated 2010 New Ireland earthquake, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2010 New Ireland earthquake. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Aditya Ex Machina 15:48, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Your contributed article, 2010 Maharashtra rains

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, 2010 Maharashtra rains. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - 2010 Maharashtra rain. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2010 Maharashtra rain - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.  --Joshua Scott (LiberalFascist) 14:22, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

The article 2010 Maharashtra rain has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a newspaper

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  --Joshua Scott (LiberalFascist) 14:22, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Aviation accidents and incidents templates

Nice work on the Aviation accidents and incidents templates. Just one thing that I would like you to bear in mind: All of these templates are using the {{—w}} as “divider” (with an mdash), and you seem to be using the {{-w}} divider, with a regular dash. Also, there should never be a space in front of the template – just place it right after (in this case) the closing parenthesis. –Fred Bradstadt (talk) 19:21, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Somalia nft Current Squad

According to FIFA.com, Somalia's most recent match was very nearly six months ago, and no future match is scheduled. When, therefore, was the list of players you have posted as a Current Squad announced or assembled? Is there a source for the selection?

Please note the proper template for such lists (Template:Nat fs start) as can be found on the vast majority of pages for national teams. Note also that it is usual to put names in their natural order, rather than second name comma forename as you have done for many of these.

Thank you for your contributions. Kevin McE (talk) 07:40, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Greetings! A stub template or category which you created has been nominated for renaming or deletion at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type most likely doesn't meet Wikipedia requirements for a stub type, through failure to meet standards relating to the name, scope, current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals! This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Lango people (South Sudan), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Lango people (Sudan). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:24, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello. Just thought you might save yourself a bit of work by reading the section of the editing guideline WP:Redirect#Do not "fix" links to redirects that are not broken, which says that it's best practice if we don't change links to working redirects, like most of those you changed at 2011–12 Birmingham City F.C. season, e.g. [[Dundee United]] to [[Dundee United F.C.|Dundee United]]. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 17:30, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited 2011–12 Wigan Athletic F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The County Ground (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Cardiff City edit

Hi, saw your revert of "The best supported club in Wales" as "Removed lie". While I agree that it was right to remove (the info has no place in the info box), I'd just like to point out that it's not actually a lie! Cardiff's average home crowd in 2012 is in excess of 22,000 (Swansea has the next highest at just over 19,000). Regards Ytic nam (talk) 09:46, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mehdi Abeid, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 03:29, 13 August 2013 (UTC)

Your article submission Mehdi Abeid

Hello Zbase4. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Mehdi Abeid.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mehdi Abeid}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 13:01, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Stub sorting

Hello Zbase4. Thank you for tagging an article as a stub. I noticed that you used the {{stub}} template. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated if you could sort the article to a subcategory by using one of these templates instead. For example, you can use {{US-novelist-1960s-stub}} for an American novelist born in the 1960s. Of course, if you can't find a proper category, you can always use the {{stub}} tag and someone else will sort it for you, or you can propose a new stub template or category here. Thanks!

Non-free rationale for File:Cohen.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Cohen.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:04, 21 October 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Zbase4. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello. What was your source for this edit? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:15, 25 November 2016 (UTC)

http://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/index.html Dave Leip's Election Atlas Zbase4 (talk) 23:17, 25 November 2016 (UTC)

In the future, please take a moment to update the "accessdate" when you cite a source. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:55, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

While I appreciate the hard work you are doing adding election results to various US articles, I would caution you to not ask readers to hunt online for sources to support your edits, as you indicated here. I have again reverted your edit. Please take a moment to read WP:UNSOURCED. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:51, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

November 2016

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Ross County, Ohio. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:20, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

All of my edits are sourced through Dave Leip's election atlas [1], which is usually already listed as a source in the election infobox. I will add a link to the election atlas for Ross County, Ohio, however I see no reason for why I should be blocked for making productive edits on Wikipedia. You should assume good faith before suggesting to block me, as my intent is to improve the quality of Wikipedia by adding up to date information on the recent election on a county by county basis. If I forget to link to my source in my original edit, please consider adding a source yourself from here [2] or notifying me so that I can fix my mistake, not suggesting to block me for doing so as it is an honest mistake and can be easily fixed if necessary. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited United States Ambassador to Israel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Friedman. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is the page I found them on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Intelligence_Community

Thanks so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.36.68.29 (talk) 17:17, 1 April 2017 (UTC)

These positions are military positions, not political appointments, they would be held by military appointees and not political appointees and do not belong within the article. Zbase4 (talk)

Hello Zbase4 the whole Department of Defense are military appointees. now I have an Idea we should cerate a new page togaver called military appointees of Donald Trump and put all them one one big page becuse we bolth know there's more military appointees. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.36.68.29 (talk) 20:12, 1 April 2017 (UTC)

No, there are political appointments at the Department of Defense which are chosen by the President and/or the Defense Secretary which are already included within the article. If you want to see the various political appointments chosen by the President and confirmed by the Senate, you can view them in this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_positions_filled_by_presidential_appointment_with_Senate_confirmation#Department_of_Defense

All other positions are appointed by the military and should not by included in the article as the article is simply the Political appointments of Donald Trump, rather than all appointments, that is why for example Neil Gorsuch or Amul Thapar are not included as they are not political appointments but rather judicial appointments and why any military appointments should not be included in the article as well. Zbase4 (talk) 21:10, 1 April 2017 (UTC)

Hello Zbase4 lets make a page only for military appointments called military appointments of Donald Trump. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.36.68.29 (talk) 19:47, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

William McCrary Ray II citation

Where was the information you placed cited in the article? Snickers2686 (talk) 23:17, 17 July 2017 (UTC)

It is in this article 1 on the first page where it mentions Ray grew up in a political family. Zbase4 (talk) 23:46, 17 July 2017 (UTC)

@Zbase4: Okay, so then you would want to duplicate that citation in the article. It's in the infobox, but not in the citation that succeeds the statement in the article, hence why I reverted...It wasn't in THAT particular citation. So all you have to do is duplicate the citation from the infobox and you'll be good :) Snickers2686 (talk) 00:19, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
