Leicester Away kit[edit]

how did you get the adidas decals on the kit, I tried what you put in last night and it wouldn't work? Jimmy Skitz's Answer Machine 18:02, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you mean. It's all pretty much made by scratch. ZephyrTurtle14 (talk) 21:06, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I entered the same text you did and it didn't work, which is why i found the basic version as a place holder, strange. Jimmy Skitz's Answer Machine 21:41, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Entering some text won't work if the design doesn't exist in the database. Wikipedia users design and upload their own work for use on pages such as this. Usually, there are a couple of artists who create most of the designs for kits in professional football, but they often have their plates full. As a result, I uploaded a design. As with most designs, it can be overwritten with an improved one. I would advise, however, against using a 'placeholder'. It's better to wait for a user artist to produce the design and for you to include it at a later date, rather than upload an inaccurate design that vaguely resembles the new kit. : ) ZephyrTurtle14 (talk) 22:29, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Leicester Appearances[edit]

Please leave Castagne in the appearances list, he should remain there as he started the season at the club and was in match day squads, this is how its been done in previous seasons. Jimmy Skitz's Answer Machine 23:52, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Castagne was removed from Appearances because he did not make a competitive contribution to this season. This practice has been followed in previous seasons. Think back to when Maguire and Chilwell left the club before the end of their respective transfer windows. Schmeichel was an anomally as he was included in last season's section despite leaving before competitive games began. I will make an exception for Castagne as while he did not make a competitive contribution, he did appear as a unused substitution in Championship games and a EFL cup game. P.S. You are far more polite than Jeremy Hulber. ZephyrTurtle14 (talk) 00:40, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I thought the same thing last season with Kasper, it seems the policy is once the season starts they stay, was never sure why Kasper was kept but its not worth the argument. Jimmy Skitz's Answer Machine 04:32, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Hemiauchenia (talk) 00:01, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Acroterion (talk) 03:12, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
