Welcome![edit]

Hello, Zexianna, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

November 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Gsquaredxc. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Death and the Miser—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Gsquaredxc (talk) 22:33, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to replying to these, so hopefully I'm doing this right. But why were these edits seen as unconstructive and tagged with vandalism? Is this an automated process? Everything was researched and cited with credible sources yet the whole thing was removed. --Zexianna (talk) 22:56, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Gsquaredxc:, @Zexianna: is a student in my class in which we are doing a Wikipedia project. I disagree strongly that these edits are not constructive. She has researched the scholarly literature on the topic and cited all of her information. The edit you have flagged is a quotation from scripture that helps to explain the inclusion of armor in the painting. Please explain how this is vandalism.
